Three's no crowd for Romo, who's expecting first child

Tony Romo has been the center of debate all season long, but his biggest supporter is en route.

Speaking Tuesday with students at a high school in Cedar Hill, Texas, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback revealed he's going to be a father.

"I got one on the way. My wife's pregnant," Romo told the crowd, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Romo and Candice Crawford, a former Miss Missouri, were married in May, in a ceremony that generated a wedding video resembling something out of a Terrence Malick production.

No luck for opponents hoping to catch a sleep-deprived new dad dragging on the field: Romo said the baby is due in March -- just in time for the under-the-radar Cowboys to win the Super Bowl. Right, guys?
