Tim Tebow not angry as New York Jets skip him again

Tim Tebow's only remaining goal is to escape the hellish landscape that is the New York Jets' 2012 season with both his dignity -- and sanity -- intact.

Harrison: Week 17 predictions

What can we expect on the final Sunday of the regular season? Elliot Harrison predicts every outcome in his Game Picks. **More ...**

Sure, Tebow could make a stink about being passed over as the starting quarterback by Rex Ryanagain after the Jetslearned Thursday that Greg McElroy was dealing with concussion symptoms. But what's the point?

Tebow used the beginning of the week to deny he'd asked out of the Jets' Wildcat package last week. Beyond defending his reputation on that dicey topic, Tebow really gains nothing by saying another word ... about anything.

Ryan did him a minor disservice by telling the media Thursday that Tebow was "obviously not happy" to hear Sanchez would start against the Buffalo Bills. During his media availability, Tebow said (via Newsday) he isn't angry with Ryan and added he'll do anything the team needs Sunday at Buffalo.

Tebow added the understatement of the year when asked to summarize the past four months. He replied: "It's been interesting."

That's one way to put it. Tebow can rest easy in the knowledge that Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan has a great big bearhug waiting for him on the other side of all this madness.
