Titans, 16th overall draft pick Morgan agree to terms

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with first-round draft pick Derrick Morgan.

The defensive end from Georgia Tech tweeted Saturday night that he was in a break room in Titans headquarters waiting to sign reportedly a five-year deal. Terms weren't immediately available, but the Titans confirmed they had a deal with Morgan.

"And this is what they got on the table knowin I got to weigh in 2moro," Morgan wrote, tweeting a picture of boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts.

The Titans used the 16th overall pick on Morgan, hoping to boost the pass rush on a defense that ranked next to last in the NFL in 2009. He had 12.5 sacks as a junior when he was first-team All-American and the Atlantic Coast Conference's Defensive Player of the Year.
