Titans get DE Vanden Bosch back against Jets

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans started defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch against the New York Jets on Sunday and also activated veteran cornerback Tyrone Poole after signing him a day earlier.

The Jets deactivated linebacker David Harris (groin) and safety Eric Smith (head) for the fourth straight game.

Vanden Bosch hadn't played three of the past four games since hurting his groin on Oct. 5 at Baltimore. The end who had 12 sacks in 2007 hadn't been able to finish a game, despite trying to play against Green Bay, in the past month.

The Titans also deactivated backup defensive tackle Jason Jones (foot) for a second straight week. Tennessee placed cornerbacks Eric King and Reynaldo Hill on injured reserve Saturday and replaced them by signing Poole, who was in camp with Denver earlier this year, and promoting Tuff Harris from the practice squad.
