Titans coach Jeff Fisher announced Monday that Morgan, the 16th overall pick out of Georgia Tech in April, had torn his left anterior cruciate ligament. With defensive end Jacob Ford and tackle Sen'Derrick Marks also having injured knees, the Titans quickly signed Gordon on Tuesday.

Gordon played for the Titans in 2008, first on the practice squad in November and was active for the final two games of the season. He also has been with the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns.

The Titans also added tight end-fullback Joel Gamble to their practice squad and released Jack Corcoran.
