Titans QB Will Levis (shoulder) set to start vs. Colts on Sunday

Vowing to fight to get back on the field in Week 6, Will Levis' efforts have come to fruition.

Levis will start on Sunday for the Tennessee Titans against the Indianapolis Colts, coach Brian Callahan said Friday.

In the Titans' Week 4 win over the Miami Dolphins, Levis injured his right shoulder on a dive for a first down. He was held out for the remainder of the game, but after a Week 5 bye returned as a full participant throughout this week.

Though Mason Rudolph took over under center for Tennessee en route to its first win of the season, it was a rekindled Titans running game that paved the way. Tony Pollard (88 yards, touchdown) and Tyjae Spears (39 yards, TD) each had season highs in rushing.

So far, Levis has completed 68.4% of his passes for 604 yards and four touchdowns. However, his season has been littered by turnovers with an NFL-worst nine giveaways with his interceptions (six) and fumbles lost (three) each league highs. Following the win over the Dolphins, Callahan was steadfast that Levis would be the team's starting QB when he was healthy, and that will indeed be the case.

Still, considering Levis' shoulder and his shaky play through three-plus games -- combined with the Colts being 31st in rushing yards allowed -- it would seem that Pollard and Spears could lead the way again.

Levis will be looked on to overcome his injury and his struggles in the AFC South matchup with the Titans kicking off at 1 p.m. ET versus the visiting Colts.
