NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran defensive end Leger Douzable to bolster a position that may lose three players to free agency.
The Titans announced the move on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not released.
He played the last two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, seeing action in 31 games and making 88 tackles, one sack and nine tackles for loss. Last season he started six games.
Titans General Manager Ruston Webster says Douzable can play both end and tackle, making him valuable in the team's defensive scheme.
He has played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams besides Jacksonville.
