Here's 10 fantasy players to target off the waiver wire heading into Week 5.
Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona: Breaston posted a team-high nine catches for 122 yards in a 56-35 loss to the New York Jets. If Anquan Boldin is forced to miss any time after his helmet-to-helmet collision on Sunday that knocked him out, Breaston would have added value in all formats.
Isaac Bruce, WR, San Francisco: Bruce might be a little long in the tooth at the age of 35, but he has an intimate knowledge of Mike Martz's offense. He's also the most reliable option in the team's passing game for quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan.
Marc Bulger, QB, St. Louis: Bulger was dropped in a lot of fantasy leagues after losing his starting job to Trent Green. Green is past his prime, however, and I think Bulger will resume a prominent role soon. If he's available, pick him up and stash him away.
Bobby Engram, WR, Seattle: Consider this a reminder that Engram and Deion Branch are both expected to return to action in Week 5. Engram is the more valuable asset of the two veteran wide receivers, but both warrant a roster spot in all fantasy formats.
Matt Jones, WR, Jacksonville: Jerry Porter made his Jaguars debut against Houston, but Jones proved to be the main man in the passing game. He hauled in five passes for 71 yards and scored on a 16-yard pass. At this point, Jones is more viable fantasy option.
Deuce McAllister, RB, New Orleans: McAllister went from invisible in the first three weeks to fantasy relevant against San Francisco. He rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries in a 31-17 win over the Niners. So much for Pierre Thomas.
Robert Meachem, WR, New Orleans: Notice a trend? Meachem doesn't catch a lot of passes, but he makes the ones he does count. He hauled in two receptions for 99 yards and scored a touchdown against San Francisco. The Saints face the Vikings in Week 5.
Zach Miller, TE, Oakland: Miller had a monster stat line against San Diego (5 catches, 95 yards, 1 TD), showcasing some of the skills that made him a fantasy sleeper in 2008. The Raiders have a bye in Week 5, but Miller is worth adding now. He'll have a nice matchup in Week 6 against the Saints.
Lance Moore, WR, New Orleans: With Marques Colston and Jeremy Shockey injured, Moore caught seven passes for 101 yards and scored twice in a win over the 49ers. He should be a starter until Colston returns to action.
Amani Toomer, WR, N.Y. Giants:Plaxico Burress will miss Week 5 due to a team-imposed suspension, so Toomer will become the top option in the Giants' passing game against Seattle. Two of his teammates, Steve Smith and Kevin Boss, are also worth a look.
