Trent Williams injures knee in Bengals-Redskins game

LANDOVER, Md. -- Starting left tackle Trent Williams exited the Washington Redskins' game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the first quarter with an injured right knee, but returned to the field in the second quarter.

Williams, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2010 draft, was hurt on the Redskins' second play from scrimmage. He covered his face with his hands while trainers examined him on the field. Williams walked over to the sideline, where he was looked at again. He eventually headed to the locker room and was not on the field for Washington's second possession.

Taking over at left tackle was Jordan Black, who was out of the NFL last year. Black gave up back-to-back sacks on one of the Redskins' drives.
