The Broncos practiced Thursday without the services of Trevor Siemian.
NFL Network's James Palmer reported that Denver's starting quarterback missed his second straight practice with the sprained foot he suffered in Sunday night's overtime loss to the Chiefs.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said this week that Siemian could start Sunday against the Jaguars even if he fails to practice, telling reporters: "Trevor is very bright. He's on top of what we're doing. That's not an issue at all."
Siemian on Wednesday wouldn't guess at his status for Week 13, but emphasized that his foot was "a little sore ... nothing too crazy."
The second-year passer was just getting over the non-throwing shoulder injury that kept him out of a Week 5 tilt against the Atlanta Falcons. Playing through a series of physical setbacks, Siemian has been sharp for Denver.
He threw for a career-high 368 yards with three touchdowns against a good Kansas City defense last Sunday. Assuming he plays, Siemian could be in for another big day against a Jaguars defense that has failed to generate a turnover in six of their last seven games.
