Heisman winner Jameis Winston of Florida State already has finished his 20 hours community service related to stealing $32.72 worth of crab legs from a Publix grocery store in Tallahassee, and the Leon County Sheriff's Department released video of the incident Thursday.
The clip isn't exactly riveting: It shows Winston leaving Publix without paying for the crab legs.
Winston was suspended for three games from the FSU baseball team, and Seminoles football coach Jimbo Fisher has said Winston faces no additional penalties from the football program because it is not football season.
"He's in baseball right now. ... If he would have been in football only, he would have been suspended from football activities only until we took care of all those things," Fisher told reporters at the ACC spring meetings in Amelia Island, Fla., on Monday. "To him, that's (missing baseball) just as devastating. To me, too; I like baseball."
FSU opens the season Aug. 30 against Oklahoma State in Arlington, Texas.
