Vikings' Harvin sidelined by rib injury against Packers

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin has had an easier time shaking defenders than his lingering rib injury.

Harvin left Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers because of the injury that has bothered him for several weeks. The Vikings announced that Harvin is officially questionable to return, but he remains on the sideline during the second half with his helmet off and doesn't look ready to return.

Harvin hasn't missed a game due to the injury, which first occurred in training camp and resurfaced during the season. But Harvin's playing time has been limited during the past two games.

Harvin had two catches for 15 yards and two rushes for 8 yards during the first half against the Packers.

Vikings starting right guard Anthony Herrera also limped off the field with an injury, but no update was given.
