This Sunday night, the Minnesota Vikings will attempt to dethrone the kings of the NFC North.
Following the Green Bay Packers' blowout loss and the Vikings' dominant win, the two will square off at Lambeau Field to decide who takes a division dominated by the team from Wisconsin.
The Packers have won the NFC North the past four seasons. Since realignment in 2002, Green Bay has won the division eight of 13 seasons.
"I'm tired of watching Green Bay win it every year, so (beating the Packers is) our No. 1 goal right now," guard Brandon Fusco said, via the Minnesota Star Tribune.
The Vikings last won the division in 2009.
In a 49-17 demolition of the New York Giants on Sunday night, the Minnesota defense dominated. With Harrison Smith, Anthony Barr and Linval Joseph back on the field, Mike Zimmer's defense can be scary good.
This weekend, the unit will face a Green Bay offense that is drowning in its own ineptitude and an offensive line that is banged up. If there was ever a prime opportunity for the Packers to fall on their home turf to lose their tight-fisted grip on the division, this would seem like it.
"It's for the NFC North," Vikings corner Captain Munnerlyn said. "We know we've got to come out next week and play our style of game. It's for all the marbles."
