Darnell Dockett vowed to return in 2015 as the Comeback Player of the Year. Where that campaign will take place remains to be seen.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that Dockett has scheduled a visit with the San Francisco 49ers beginning Monday night, per a source informed of his schedule. He has at least one other visit scheduled.
ESPN first reported the news
Dockett missed the entire 2014 season after tearing his ACL in August. The Arizona Cardinals wanted the defensive tackle to take a pay cut, but the sides couldn't come to an agreement on his worth.
Dockett, 34 in May, could still return to the desert after being cut last week. First he'll check his options beginning with a visit to San Francisco.
Other visits we are tracking:
»Brian Hartline, WR: Rapoport reports that Hartline will visit the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday, per a source informed of the situation. Hartline was released by the Miami Dolphins on Feb. 27 after six seasons. Despite his release, a return to Miami is still possible for the wide receiver. Hartline was due $5.9 million in 2015. The 28-year-old signed a five-year, $30.775 million contract in 2013.
» Jacoby Jones, WR/KR: The receiver/returner cut by the Baltimore Ravens last week is visiting the Cincinnati Bengals, per the team's official website. The veteran is also reportedly expected to visit the Tennessee Titans.
» Kendall Langford, DT: Released by the St. Louis Rams, the 29-year-old Langford is visiting Detroit, per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The Lions are in need of help along the defensive interior, regardless of what happens with Ndamukong Suh -- who Detroit declined to franchise tag.
