Carolina Panthers at Tennessee Titans (3 p.m.)
» More exotic smashmouth? The Titans looked downright slick in their preseason opener against the Chargers, whipping out a velvety statue-of-liberty play and uncorking their new-look two-headed monster at running back. That should be a little tougher to do against the Panthers, but confidence is a funny thing and Mike Mularkey is hoping this offensive line isn't scared of the deepest front four in football.
» Dave Gettleman scolded us skeptics for wondering how James Bradberry and Daryl Worley would handle the cornerback spots this year. He spent the entire season proving us wrong a year ago, but will the finger-wagging tour continue? The Titans should give the rookie defensive backs some good work, especially with Dorial Green-Beckham out of the way.
» Will Kelvin Benjamin look any better? Ron Rivera brought up some issues with Benjamin's physical condition coming off the ACL tear and doesn't see him as a player who can handle 40 snaps at the moment. Per ESPN.com: "Coach Ron Rivera noted on Saturday that Benjamin has been getting winded, particularly after a deep pattern or two. He said the goal was to get Benjamin, coming off a knee injury that ended his season last year in camp, where he can handle 30-35 snaps by the end of the preseason."
