What to watch for: Raiders-Packers

We here at the NFL had so much fun watching the return of football last weekend that we decided to do it all again this week. Around The NFL's Conor Orr dissects what you can expect to see from the 16 games this weekend.

Here's what to what to watch for ...

» Will Connor Cook make a play for the backup job? Plucky second-stringer Matt McGloin isn't going down easy and hurled a pair of touchdown passes in last week's win over the Cardinals. At the moment, the Raiders are fixing to carry three and either trade McGloin or watch the compensatory pick roll in.

» Is this finally the time for George Atkinson III? The former Notre Dame star has been on and off the Raiders' roster each of the past two seasons but doesn't want to worry about renting anymore. Atkinson scored on runs of 53 and 35 last week and, despite the presence of flashy rookie DeAndre Washington, is hoping to secure the No. 2 spot on this roster.

» More elusiveness from Lacy? The former "Big Eddie" made some sharp cuts in his preseason debut and got the ball on each of Green Bay's first four snaps. Those 24 yards were probably the best part of Green Bay's offseason so far and we'd love to see those four carries become eight or 10 before the starters come out this week.
