20 Days Until Kickoff
This Friday, August 18, marks 20 days until the 2017 Kickoff Game. Take a look at 20 nuggets for the 20 day mark below we have prepared in anticipation for the season.

Jerry Rice is the only player in NFL history with 20,000+ receiving yards (22,895). However, Emmitt Smith (21,579) and Walter Payton (21,264) join Rice in the 20,000+ scrimmage yards club.

Three players played 20+ seasons with one NFL club. Jason Hanson spent 21 seasons kicking for the Lions, and Hall of Famers Jackie Slater and Darrell Green spent 20 seasons with the Rams and Redskins, respectively.

Ten players have racked up 20.0+ sacks in a season since sacks became official in 1982. Only one player has done it twice -- Texans DE J.J. Watt. Watt had 20.5 sacks in both 2012 and 2014.

Only three pass rushers have 20+ QB hits in each of the last three seasons: Von Miller, Everson Griffen and Carlos Dunlap. Dunlap's four-season streak with 20+ sacks (since 2013) is the longest active streak in the league.

Buccaneers LB Kwon Alexander had 21 tackles against the Cowboys in Week 15, 2016. It was the first 20+ tackle game since Luke Kuechly racked up 24 against the Saints in Week 16, 2013.

Three active players have 20+ career rush TD and 20+ career receiving TD: Jamaal Charles, Matt Forte and Darren Sproles.

Two active players have 20+ career rush TD and 20+ career pass TD: Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers.

David Johnson scored 20 TDs in 2016 (16 rush, 4 receiving), the first player with 20+ scrimmage TDs in a season since LeSean McCoy in 2011. The last player with 20+ rush TDs in a season was LaDainian Tomlinson (28 in 2006). The last player with 20+ receiving TDs in a season was Randy Moss (23 in 2007).

Who's the hardest NFL player to tackle? Todd Gurley is the only player to break 20+ tackles in each of the last two seasons. Gurley also leads the league with 42 total broken tackles since entering the league in 2015.

T.Y. Hilton led the NFL with 17 receptions on passes of 20+ air yards in 2016. Antonio Brown and Kenny Stills tied for the league lead with 8 TD receptions of 20+ air yards.

How much will Kirk Cousins miss DeSean Jackson? Cousins led the NFL with 38 completions and 1,355 passing yards on passes of 20+ air yards in 2016. Jackson led the league with 579 receiving yards on those passes of 20+ air yards. Jackson's new QB, Jameis Winston, had 544 pass yards on 20+ air yard passes, 23rd in the NFL.

James White set a Super Bowl record for points scored with 20 in Super Bowl LI. It marked the third time in NFL history a player scored 20+ points in a playoff game, joining Ricky Watters (30 points in 1993 Divisional Round vs. NYG) and LeGarrette Blount (24 points in 2013 Divisional Round vs. IND).

Over the past five seasons, Lions QB Matthew Stafford leads the NFL with 20 fourth-quarter comebacks, seven more than any other QB.

From Troy Aikman (Week 1, 1997) to Dak Prescott (Week 17, 2016), the Cowboys have started 20 different quarterbacks in the last 20 seasons. Current Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is among the 20, starting seven games between 1998-1999.

Tom Brady has 25 playoff QB wins, the only player in NFL history with 20+ wins in the postseason. Only five other QBs have made 20+ postseason starts: Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Joe Montana, John Elway and Ben Roethlisberger.

Only two head coaches in NFL history have amassed 20+ playoff wins. Tom Landry was the first to do so, and Bill Belichick tied and surpassed him in the 2014 playoffs. Belichick now has 26 career postseason wins, 15 more than any other active coach.

Only two players have snagged 20+ INT over the last five NFL seasons. CB Richard Sherman leads the league with 26 INTs since 2012, and S Reggie Nelson has 22 INTs in that same span.

In NFL history, there have been four instances of a QB completing 20 passes in all 16 games in a season, including Drew Brees in 2016. The other three instances? Drew Brees, Drew Brees and Drew Brees (2010-2012 seasons).

Only two players in NFL history have caught 20 passes in a single game. Niners WR Terrell Owens had 20 receptions against the Bears in Week 16, 2000. Brandon Marshall (then of the Broncos) bested him with 21 receptions against the Colts in Week 14, 2009.
