It was a tale of threes that spelled the end of Chan Gailey's time with the Buffalo Bills, as he had three different defensive coordinators in three years, and stuck with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback for three seasons after starting him over Trent Edwards back in 2010. Fitzpatrick failed to get over the hump, and the Bills defense never improved, so after three straight strikes on offense and defense, Gailey was fired.

This was Andy Reid's 14th, and final year as the Eagles head coach, going 4-12 before being let go. This was also his worst record as the head coach of the Eagles… can you say senioritis?

Shurmur was fired after two season as the Browns head coach, and it appears rrange is just not his color. The Browns primary color is orange, and both of his quarterbacks in his two seasons (Colt McCoy and Brandon Weeden) sported orange uniforms in college before joining the Browns. Last but not least, Jim Haslam, the new owner of the Browns who fired Shurmur is a graduate of and frequent donor to the University of Tennessee… who's primary color is orange.

Kevin Kolb only managed to win six games in two seasons as the Cardinals starter. It looks like six was not the magic number for Whisenhunt.
