The Manning family needs no introduction. Archie was selected second overall in the 1971 draft out of Ole Miss by the New Orleans Saints. He played 14 seasons in the NFL and was part of two Pro Bowls. His sons -- Peyton and Eli -- have both won two Super Bowls each and were both selected first overall in their respective drafts. Peyton has 14 Pro Bowls while Eli has four.

Clay Matthews Jr. was a linebacker who played 19 seasons for the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons. With 1,561 total career tackles, he has the third-most tackles in NFL history. His sons -- Clay Matthews III and Casey Matthews -- are both linebackers in the NFL. Clay is an 10-year veteran who helped the Packers win a Super Bowl and currently plays for the Los Angeles Rams. Casey played four years for the Philadelphia Eagles after being drafted in 2011 and was last signed in 2015 by the Vikings.

Bill Belichick has been head coach of the New England Patriots since 2000. His son Stephen Belichick started as a New England Patriots coaching assistant in 2012 before becoming a safeties coach in 2016 and now the outside linebackers coach.

Howie Long was a Hall of Fame defensive end for the Raiders from 1981 to 1993, helping them win Super Bowl XVIII in 1984. He earned eight Pro Bowl bids, three first-team All-Pro selections, two second-team All-Pro selections, 1985 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and is a member of the 1980s All-Decade Team. His son Chris was a defensive end and won back-to-back Super Bowls with the Eagles (LII) and Patriots (LI). He was selected second overall in the 2008 draft by the Rams. Chris was the 2018 Walter Payton Man of the Year. His brother Kyle was selected 20th overall by the Chicago Bears in 2013. He's made three Pro Bowls, was second-team All-Pro in 2014 and has started every game he has played in.

The 49ers' Ronnie Lott was arguably the greatest safety in NFL history. His son, Ryan Nece, made a nice career for himself as a linebacker in Tampa Bay.

Walter Payton was one of the most prolific running backs in NFL history. He played 13 seasons for the Bears and retired in 1987 as the NFL's all-time leader in rushing yards. His son, Jarrett, spent the 2005 season with the Titans and has spent three seasons in the NFL as a running back.

During his playing days from 1978 to 1991, Mosi Tatupu was one of the most popular members of the New England Patriots as a running back and special teams standout. His son, Lofa, went to three Pro Bowls as a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks and later signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

Former tight end for the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks, Ferrell Edmunds played seven years in the NFL. His oldest son, Trey Edmunds, currently plays as a running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. His other two sons, Terrell and Tremaine, were part of the same 2018 Draft class and were both selected in the first round by the Steelers and Buffalo Bills, respectively.

Ed Hochuli was an NFL official since the 1990 season and retired in 2017. His son, Shawn, has been an NFL official since 2014 and has worked as an official in NCAA and Arena Football League games.

Bruce Matthews was a first-round draft pick out of USC in 1983 who played 19 seasons for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Oilers/Tennessee Titans. His son, Jake Matthews, is an offensive tackle for the Atlanta Falcons who was drafted by the Falcons as the sixth-overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Jake's older brother, Kevin Matthews, was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2010 and has played on the Redskins and Panthers.

Craig "Ironhead" Heyward was a fullback who played in the NFL for 11 years for the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Rams and Indianapolis Colts. His son, Cameron Heyward is a defensive end for the Steelers who was drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

Oliver Luck was a quarterback who played for the Houston Oilers for five seasons. Following in his footsteps, his son Andrew Luck was the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and played as the starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts for seven seasons.

A member of both the Pro and College Football Hall of Fames, Tony Dorsett played 11 seasons for the Dallas Cowboys and one season for the Denver Broncos before retiring due to injuries. His son, former safety Anthony Dorsett, served an eight-year tenure in the NFL for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Oilers/Tennessee Titans and the Oakland Raiders.

Former tight end for the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Raiders, Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants, Don Hasselbeck played an eight-year career in the NFL. His sons -- Matt and Tim Hasselbeck -- were both quarterbacks in the NFL.

George Adams was a running back who was drafted in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He won a Super Bowl with the Giants in Super Bowl XI and played his final years as a Patriot. His son Jamal Adams played at LSU and was selected sixth overall in the 2017 draft by the Jets.

Gene Atkins was a safety for the New Orleans Saints, who selected him in the seventh round of the 1987 Draft. Gene played ten seasons in the NFL and finished his career as a member of the Miami Dolphins. His son Geno is a current defensive tackle for the Bengals and has amassed 5 Pro Bowls and 244 tackles since being drafted by Cincinnati in 2010.

Don Shula is a legend in the NFL. Although he played seven seasons in the NFL as a defensive back, Shula is most known for his coaching career. He is the winningest head coach with 347 wins and has two Super Bowl rings along with the 1968 NFL championship. His son David played a single season in 1981 with the Baltimore Colts and then took several coaching positions in the ensuing years. His brother Mike Shula also played a single season for the Buccaneers and is currently the quarterbacks coach of the Denver Broncos.

Pat Harlow played tackle in the NFL from 1991 to 1998 for the Patriots and the Raiders after being selected eleventh overall in the 1991 NFL Draft. His son Sean played guard at Oregon State, was drafted in 2017 by the Atlanta Falcons and currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals.

Bobby Humphrey was one of five players to be selected in the 1989 NFL Supplemental Draft. He played running back for the Broncos, Dolphins and Bills and was in the 1990 Pro Bowl as a member of the Broncos. His son Marlon was selected 16th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.

Mark Ingram Sr. was drafted 28th overall in the 1987 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, and he won a Super Bowl during the 1990 season. He then went on to play with the Dolphins, Packers and Eagles and retired after the 1996 season. Mark Ingram Jr. won the Heisman Trophy in 2009 and was drafted 28th overall -- like his father -- in the 2011 Draft by the New Orleans Saints. Ingram Jr. has played in three Pro Bowls and currently plays for the Houston Texans.

Robert Jones is a former NFL linebacker who played for the Cowboys, Rams, Dolphins and Redskins. He won three Super Bowls, NFC Rookie of the Year and was a 1994 Pro Bowl selection during his four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. His son Zay Jones was selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills and now plays with the Las Vegas Raiders. Zay's older brother, Cayleb, was a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings after being signed as a free agent by the Eagles in 2016 and is currently a free agent.

Mike Shanahan served as a head coach for the Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2008 and Washington Redskins from 2010 to 2013. He led the Broncos to their first Super Bowl championship during the 1994 season and then back-to-back championships in Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII. His son Kyle is currently the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. In 2008, Kyle became the youngest coordinator in the NFL at 28 years old as the offensive coordinator for the Texans.

Terry Robiskie played five seasons as a running back for the Raiders and Dolphins from 1977 to 1981 and served as an assistant coach for multiple NFL teams. His son, Brian -- a wide receiver -- was drafted by the Browns in the second round in 2009, and played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, and Tennessee Titans.

The late Buddy Ryan made a name for himself as a defensive coordinator for the Vikings and Bears, then went on to coach the Eagles from 1986 to 1990. His sons, Rob and Rex, went on to become defensive coordinators, as well, and Rex became a head coach for the Jets and Bills.

Bob Griese was the fourth player selected in the 1967 Common Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He led the team to their undefeated 1972 season and Super Bowls VII and VIII. Bob won the NFL's MVP in 1971 and had his jersey number (12) retired by the franchise. His son, Brian, was a third round selection by the Denver Broncos in 1998 and won Super Bowl XXXIII with the team that same year.

Terry Metcalf was a running back for six seasons in the NFL and three in the Canadian Football League. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1973 to 1977 and the Washington Redskins in 1981. Terry set an NFL record for combined yards in the 1975 season that stood for ten seasons until 1985. Terry's son, Eric, was the 13th overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Eric was a running back, wide receiver and return specialist for the Browns, Falcons, Chargers, Cardinals, Panthers, Redskins and Packers. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 1993, 1994 and 1997.

Joe Klecko was drafted in the sixth round by the New York Jets in the 1977 NFL Draft. Joe played ten seasons for the Jets and finished his NFL career in 1988 with the Colts. He has been nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame several times, but has yet to be enshrined. Joe's son, Dan, was a fourth-round draft pick in 2003 by the New England Patriots. Dan won three Super Bowls (XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLI), two with the Patriots and one with the Colts. Klecko caught and scored a touchdown in the 2006 AFC Championship game against his former team, the Patriots.

Jackie Slater is a Hall of Fame offensive tackle who played his entire 20-year career for the Los Angeles Rams. Jackie was selected to seven Pro Bowls and his jersey number (78) has been retried by the Rams. His son, Matthew, has played for the New England Patriots since being drafted by them in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He has been selected to seven consecutive Pro Bowls and won three Super Bowls with the Patriots (XLIX, LI, LIII).

Steve Jordan played tight end for the Minnesota Vikings from 1982 to 1994. He was selected to six consecutive Pro Bowls. Steve's son, Cameron, was the 24th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. Cameron is a three-time Pro Bowler and still plays for the Saints.

Former wide receiver for the Phoenix Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, St. Louis Rams, Carolina Panthers, and Indianapolis Colts, Ricky Proehl played a 17-year career in the NFL. His son, Austin Proehl, played at North Carolina and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He now plays for the Los Angeles Chargers.

Former linebacker, Jessie Tuggle, played 14 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. His son Justin Tuggle played three seasons with the Houston Texans from 2013-2015.

Former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms played for 10 years from 1979-1993. His older son Chris Simms was a quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2003-2010. His other son, Matt Simms played for the Atlanta Falcons and then the Atlanta Legends in the AAF.

Former wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints, Brett Perriman played for 10 seasons. His son Breshad Perriman is currently on the Detroit Lions.

The late Orlando 'Zeus' Brown played in NFL with the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens for more than a decade. Orlando Brown was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 3rd round of the 2018 NFL Draft, he now plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Former linebacker for the Los Angeles Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, Reggie McKenzie, played a five-year career with the NFL. His son Kahlil McKenzie was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round, 198th overall of the 2018 NFL Draft, he now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Mario Edwards played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys from 2000-2004. His son Mario Edwards Jr. is currently on the Chicago Bears and has played for the New York Giants, Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints.

Ed McCaffrey was a wide receiver who played 13 seasons in the NFL. He won three Super Bowls during his career -- two with the Broncos and one as a 49er. He also played in the 1998 Pro Bowl. His son, Christian, was the eighth-overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. Christian's older brother, Max, signed with the 49ers as a free agent in 2017 and has been with the Packers, Saints, Jaguars and Raiders.

Coaching runs in the Phillips family. Father Bum coached the Houston Oilers from 1975 to 1980. His son Wade has served as head coach of the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys and interim head coach for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and the Houston Texans. He most recently was the defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams.

John Bosa played defensive end for three years with the Miami Dolphins from 1987-1989. His two sons, Joey and Nick, were both drafted in the first round by the San Diego Chargers in 2016 and San Francisco 49ers in 2019, respectively.

Devin Bush Sr., a safety, played for eight seasons in the NFL. Drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round in 1995, he played with them through 1998, followed by the St. Louis Rams (1999-2000), where he won Super Bowl XXXIV, and then the Cleveland Browns (2001-2002). His son, Devin, was also drafted in the first round. He was selected 10th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Terrence Metcalf, a guard, was drafted in the third round in 2002 by the Chicago Bears and played for seven seasons from 2002-2008. His son, D.K., was drafted in 2019 by the Seattle Seahawks.

Corey Miller played linebacker in the NFL for nine years (1992-99) after being drafted in the sixth round of the 1991 draft by the New York Giants out of South Carolina. His son Christian was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 Draft by the Carolina Panthers.

Pat Shurmur is the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos after several coaching jobs with the Eagles, Rams, Browns and Vikings and Giants. His son Kyle was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chiefs in 2019 and now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chris Wilson was the Philadelphia Eagles defensive line coach from 2016-2018, winning Super Bowl LII with them. He was a 12th-round NFL Draft pick in 1992 by the Bears and was a two-time All-American linebacker at Oklahoma. His son Caleb was the 254th pick in the 2019 Draft by the Cardinals, and now plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Luther Elliss is a former two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle and 1995 first-round pick of the Detroit Lions and is currently Idaho's defensive line coach. His son Kaden was drafted by the Saints in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Patrick Surtain II was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 2021 NFL Draft. His father Patrick Surtain played 11 seasons as cornerback in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs.

Former Florida State defensive back Asante Samuel Jr. was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2021 NFL Draft. His father Asante Samuel played 11 seasons as cornerback in the NFL for the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Atlanta Falcons.

Former Clemson wide receiver Amari Rodgers was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2021 NFL Draft. Rodgers' father Tee Martin played four seasons as quarterback in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders.

Former South Carolina defensive back Jaycee Horn was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2021 NFL Draft. His father Joe Horn played 13 seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons.

Former Michigan State running back Connor Heyward was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft. His father Craig Heyward played for the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Rams, and Indianapolis Colts in his 11 seasons with the NFL.

Former Florida cornerback Kaiir Elam was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 2022 NFL Draft. His father Abram Elam played for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs.
