Curse, Coincidence, or Superstition: Wild Card edition
Many sports fans are inclined to believe that team losses can be traced back to a curse or superstition. So what was written in the stars for the teams that faced off on Wild Card weekend? Let's take a look.

Arian Foster became the first player in NFL history to rush for over 100 yards in his first three playoff appearances. The Texans are 2-1 in those games, thanks to a 19-13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Foster will look to carry the load once again when the Texans face the New England Patriots on Sunday in the Divisional Round.

Joe Webb became the first player in the Super Bowl era to start a playoff game without having thrown a single pass in the preceding regular season. Webb had a rough night against the Green Bay Packers, completing only 36.7 percent of his passes in a 24-10 loss.

In Ray Lewis' final home game as a Baltimore Raven, coach John Harbaugh became the first head coach in NFL history to record a playoff win in his first five playoff campaigns. Lewis and Harbaugh hope to continue their winning ways as they head to Denver on Saturday.

Of the five rookie quarterbacks drafted in 2012 who were the primary starter for their team this season, three made the playoffs, including the number one and two overall picks in Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. However, the last one standing was also the last one drafted of the group, Russell Wilson.
