Fantasy Football Stock Watch
With minicamps in the books, there's really not a lot going on in the NFL for a few weeks. So all fantasy enthusiasts can do to begin draft prep is dig around on the internet for nuggets of news and study for the upcoming season with our Draft Kit. But as we celebrate the holiday weekend, there are a few headlines regarding fantasy stars who caught our attention this week.

This man just got PAID. Despite a lost 2015 campaign--from both a fantasy and real-life perspective--Luck is now the highest paid player in the NFL. The $140-million, six-year deal reveals just how much the Colts believe in Luck's ability to play at an elite level for the long haul. According to his Round 7 ADP on NFL.com, he may end up as one of the best value plays at quarterback in fantasy football drafts this season.

A first round selection in the NFL draft in April. A first round selection in fantasy football drafts this season. Is there really room for Zeke's stock to go any higher? Well, the answer is yes, there is. A report earlier in the week predicted that the rookie back could push for 300 carries this year in Dallas. That number doesn't include potential looks as a pass-catcher out of the backfield which could boost his touches totals to astronomical levels. His fantasy ceiling is infinite and he hasn't played a single snap as a pro yet.

As a rookie, Mariota was a viable fantasy streamer and flashed greatness at times with first-year growing pains sprinkled in. He's poised to take the next step in his development at the NFL level and the backfield acquisitions of DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry will help make the Titans a more balanced offense. So when Mariota said that he will "hand the ball off 40 times a game," fantasy fans could only cringe at the idea. It's an exaggerated number seeing as Carolina led the NFL last year with 32.9 rush attempts per game, but if he's passing less, it may limit Mariota's ceiling as a fantasy asset.

In his rookie season, Cooper paced all rookies in targets (130), receptions (72), receiving yards (1,070) and receiving touchdowns (six). He's already being drafted as a top-15 fantasy wideout early this summer, so how much higher can his fantasy stock go? Well he's feeling more comfortable as a pro and apparently looked excellent during the Raiders' offseason practices, which isn't much of a surprise. Still, it's welcomed reassurance that fantasy owners will be able to count on the 22-year-old as a WR2 with WR1 upside as he attempts to improve upon his impressive rookie campaign which fizzled out late.

Thomas didn't play a snap until Week 5 last year thanks to a hand injury he suffered in training camp. That injury kept him off the field for weeks and put a damper on his chemistry building with quarterback Blake Bortles. Entering his second year in Jacksonville, Thomas is in line to improve upon what was an inconsistent 2015. A recent report from a Jaguars beat writer stated that Bortles and Thomas were "nearly unstoppable" in spring OTAs and pegged Thomas for double-digit TDs this season. Only three tight ends posted double-digit scores last year, so while it may be unlikely, it certainly isn't impossible.

While the Seahawks are "anxious" to see more of their third-round draft selection, Prosise missed a good chunk of spring OTAs with a hip injury. As a rookie, every rep in offseason practice sessions are extremely vital. First year players need that time to get up to speed with a faster-paced game and learn an entire playbook in just a few months' time. Prosise has potential to be a fantasy stud, but it's never encouraging to hear that a first-year player is limited, even at this early stage of the offseason.

In addition to Andrew Luck, Baldwin recently signed a fresh and lucrative contract with the Seahawks. He tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns (14) last year and earned himself a solid pay day. Baldwin will enter the season as the No. 1 receiving option in Seattle, and fantasy fans are hoping he can pick up right where he left off: 11 touchdown receptions in the final five weeks of the regular season and 13 catches for 124 yards and a score in the playoffs.

Whether you're a fantasy football fan, or just a fan of football in general, you'll want to check out the NFL Films produced "All or Nothing" now streaming on Amazon. It's an eight-episode docuseries on the Arizona Cardinals' 2015 season, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Watch your favorite Cardinals fantasy stars like David Johnson, Carson Palmer and Michael Floyd on and off the field as they achieve a 13-3 record and make a playoff run helping fantasy owners do the same along the way.

Seferian-Jenkins has been plagued by injuries and played in a combined 16 games during his first two seasons in the NFL. He's already hard to trust as a fantasy piece due to his durability issues. But he did even more damage to his reputation after being kicked out of a spring practice session, which was followed by an unnecessary Twitter rant. If he can't get it together in camp, both mentally and physically, ASJ's role as the Bucs' starting tight end may be in jeopardy. <
