Fantasy Football Stockwatch: Week 12
We've passed Thanksgiving, which means the fantasy playoffs are now clearly in sight. So once you've come out of your food haze and finished with your early shopping, sit down and take a gander at the Fantasy Stockwatch. It just might save your fantasy football life.

Sammy, it's been awhile since we've seen you. Week 2 to be exact. But it's good to read that the talented Bills receiver says he's feeling good and is hoping to play Sunday against the Jaguars. It would be a welcome sight for Tyrod Taylor since Buffalo could be without Robert Woods. If nothing else, it's just nice to know that Watkins is at least back in our fantasy lives for the stretch run.

Speaking of the Jaguars, it looks like T.J. Yeldon might not be available for this weekend as he deals with an ankle injury. That should mean good news for Chris Ivory, who saw his biggest workload of the season after Yeldon left the game last week. But because this makes too much sense, of course we're hearing talk that Denard Robinson could see more work. Not cool, Gus Bradley. Not cool.

We don't have a very clear idea of what's going to happen with Rob Gronkowski this week, because Patriots. But the outlook on the big tight end playing with a perforated lung doesn't sound all that positive. Then again, if Gronk can't suit up against the Jets this week, Tom Brady will certainly find ways to spread the ball around and keep the offense humming. Because Patriots.

After missing the past three games with a hamstring injury, it looks like Coleman is good to go for Sunday's contest against the Arizona Cardinals. The Falcons have done a great job of incorporating both of their running backs all season, erasing any of the fears we had of a lackluster committee. The Cardinals aren't a great matchup, but with the Atlanta attack cruising all year it's hard to fade Coleman right now.

There are other players having worse seasons than Thomas, but it's hard to think of a bigger disappointment. Thomas has been quietly fading into oblivion after a season-high 71 yards in Week 2. Since then, he hasn't topped 28 receiving yards in a single game and is extremely touchdown-dependent. That's not a place you want to be when Blake Bortles is your quarterback. Making matters worse, Thomas was ruled out this week with a back injury.

No Jay Cutler. No Alshon Jeffery. No Zach Miller or Kyle Long. The Bears offense is frighteningly devoid of playmakers right now. And they get to host a defense allowing just 92.1 rushing yards per game (seventh-fewest in the league). Give me one reason why the Titans shouldn't just crowd the line of scrimmage and beg Matt Barkley and Cameron Meredith to beat them. I'll wait.

Floyd is certainly in the running for one of the biggest underperformers of the year. But the Cardinals wideout was the source of more bad news when he was added to the team's injury report and missed practice with a hamstring injury. Considering the Cards haven't gotten much from their wideouts all year, this might not make a major impact. Then again, against the Falcons soft secondary it still represents an opportunity lost.

As of this writing, Ingram still hasn't been officially cleared from the league's concussion protocol. However, Ingram has suggested that he'll be ready to play this week against the Los Angeles Rams. Hey Dr. Ingram, while you're at it, can you figure out why I have this weird shooting pain in my knee occasionally when I walk? Thanks.

The Bills offense is hurting for playmakers. Which explains why some of their playmakers play hurt. McCoy is no stranger to that, having tried to play through a hamstring injury earlier this season. Now it looks like Shady will be available for the Bills despite having had thumb surgery immediately after last week's game. In light of McCoy's propensity to hold the ball cavalierly, we'll see if this is a help or hindrance. But, hey, at least he's probably playing.

We might still be another week or so away from Sims getting back on the field for the Bucs, but he is back at practice and getting closer to a return after going on IR boomerang with a knee injury. It's a welcome sight for the Bucs, who haven't run the ball particularly well lately. It's also a welcome sight for fantasy managers, who are finding the running back position particularly thin.
