Fantasy Football Stockwatch: Week 14
The playoffs have begun in plenty of leagues. In plenty more, this is the final week to try and sneak into the fantasy postseason. Either way, roster and lineup decisions are of the utmost importance here. The Stockwatch is not going to leave you in your hour of need. Let's do this.

Fantasy managers could be left with an agonizing decision about one of the top receivers in the game. Jones hasn't been able to participate in practice this week and is seriously questionable as he deals with a turf toe issue. The fear is that you could be forced to start Jones and he is mostly a decoy. Or you sit him and he's, well ... Julio Jones.

Things haven't been too great between the lines for Martin recently with the Bucs struggling to get a ground game going. The really bad news for Martin is that the Tampa Bay backfield is getting more crowded. Jacquizz Rodgers looks like he's in line for more work and Charles Sims is expected back from injured reserve in short order. Martin currently remains the Buccaneers' lead back, but his grasp on that job is tenuous.

This is a bit of a mixed bag for Reed. According to reports, the Washington tight end is still dealing with quite a bit of pain in his injured shoulder. The good news is Reed has been practicing and is reportedly on track to play this week against the Eagles. His talent means that if he's on the field, it's hard to keep him out of your lineup.

The issue with Watkins and his injured foot has mostly been one of pain management. The fact that he has been increasingly more involved in Bills' practices lately suggests that he's become better at managing the pain. That is nohting but good. Now let's hope that he can turn that into increaed production this week.

This hasn't been the season we anticipated from Booker. The rookie has struggled running the football, averaging barely more than three yards per carry over the last six weeks. He was on the verge of being surprassed on the depth chart by the now-injured Kapri Bibbs. But Booker's not out of the woods yet. The Broncos signed veteran running back Justin Forsett, who is expected to start seeing touches almost immediately. Booker's value has plummeted.

If you have LeSean McCoy, there's no real need to panic. Shady is still Buffalo's workhorse and will still have plenty of opportunities. But Gillislee gets a bump in the positive direction after offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn said that the young running back could see more work near the goal line. It's not going to give Gillislee a big boost outside of touchdown-heavy leagues, but it could impact McCoy in the red zone.

Green-Beckham has sat out of practice this week with an oblique injury and looks unlikely to play this week against Washington. While the Eagles offense has been unpredictable (and generally underwhelming) through the air for much of the year, DGB was becoming an intriguing piece of the puzzle. Hopefully this is a one-week issue since we'd like to see more of what Green-Beckham can do.

Things are looking up for the Bills offense. Sammy Watkins appears to be getting stronger every day and now the team hopes to get Robert Woods back in action. Woods had put together a string of quality starts in Watkins' absence before being felled by injuries of his own. Having the top two pass-catchers back in the offense should also do a world of good for Tyrod Taylor, who's had to carry a huge offensive burden recently.

Don't get excited, I'm not saying you should start RGIII this week. This is simply about wanting to see what he can do now that he's back in the starting role. Head coach Hue Jackson has said that this will be an audition for Grffin over the next few weeks. Consider this a fantasy audition as well. Is he a fit in this offense? Is he still a viable fantasy quarterback at all? It's all a little late-season fantasy forecasting intrigue.

Green isn't likely to be back this week. But he could be back soon. Possibly even next week. This is why I was hesitant to recommend dropping him at all. As an uber-talented player who is the undisputed target king on his roster, he could potentially be a game-changer if he can return to your roster during the fantasy playoffs.
