Fantasy Franchise Tag lineup: Week 6
My nickname around the NFL Media office is "Franchise" and every week I deliver my "Fantasy Franchise Tag" lineup to help give you that boost of confidence you need to start some players on your fantasy roster. Last week, I nailed Blake Bortles, James Jones, Gary Barnidge and Jeremy Maclin. I've had my share of misses too, (Matt Jones in Week 3…yeah that was rough), but I'm only human, so cut me some slack. Keep in mind that I'm starting a majority of these players in my slew of fantasy leagues too, so we're in this together. Be sure to check out my full positional player rankings, and if you're all up on the Twitter, be sure to send me some feedback @MattFranchise.

Many of Newton's fantasy owners are likely nervous about a matchup in Seattle which is a legitimate concern. But we just saw Andy Dalton put up 27 fantasy points against the Seahawks last week. Two of Dalton's scores went to his tight end, and one was rushing. With Greg Olsen as his main target against a Seattle defense that gives up the fifth most FPPG to tight ends, Newton has a good chance to toss a few TD passes. And with the lack of a quality running back in Carolina, Newton has been running often this season with 43 carries already through four games for 195 rush yards and two rushing TDs. I can see him running one in himself as Dalton did last week, too.

I'm going down with the ship here. I've made moves to pick up Miller in several leagues since the Dolphins last game in Week 4. Miami has restructured its coaching staff since the loss in London and I'm banking on Miller bouncing back under interim head coach Dan Campbell, who has stated that the team needs to run more. Through four games, Miller has averaged fewer than 10 carries per contest -- that's not enough to garner fantasy success for anyone. Well, maybe David Johnson who has like 50 fantasy points on fewer than 30 touches, but that's beside the point. I see Miller getting more volume and, therefore, more opportunities for fantasy success against Tennessee in a game that Miami might actually find themselves winning.

Lewis has more scrimmage yards in his four games this season (418) than he had in the first four seasons of his career combined (192). Of his 36 carries, a ridiculous 58.3 percent of them have gone for four-plus yards which is second most among RBs (Giovani Bernard) with at least 30 carries. He gets the job done in the passing game, too, with 238 receiving yards on 23 receptions and will see the ball a ton in what should be a high-scoring, back and forth AFC Championship revenge game against the Colts on Sunday night.

Yeah, another Dolphin. Like I said above with Miller, I'm banking on the new coaching regime turning things around here. And while Landry is more valuable in PPR leagues, he can still be a viable starter in standard scoring formats, too, but a few touchdowns would help. He had what would have been his first score of the season called back in Week 4 on a pass-interference call against rookie DeVante Parker. He's the only Miami wideout with double-digit targets in each of the team's first four games, and it's only a matter of time until he has a breakthrough. I say it comes this week against Tennessee.

Hilton has disappointed so far with Andrew Luck's early season struggles. With Luck out the last two games, Hilton's production suffered even further. But he should bounce back in Luck's return against the Patriots questionable secondary in what projects to be a high-scoring affair.

Kelce hasn't seen the end zone since he scored twice in Week 1 and has seemingly burned fantasy owners with fewer than four standard fantasy points in each of his last two games. But with the absence of Jamaal Charles, Kelce should only see his targets per game (6.8) increase. His ability to shed tackles after the catch is unmatched, so all Alex Smith needs to do is get the ball in his tight end's hands and let him go to work. I'm confident that Kelce will have a big game against the Vikings this week.

Aiken has 75-plus receiving yards in two straight games and saw nine targets last week against the Browns with Steve Smith absent. Joe Flacco targeted him on a few deep balls that just didn't connect, but their chemistry is growing. Even if Smith returns this week, Aiken will have ample opportunity for fantasy success against a 49ers defense that has allowed 28.12 FPPF to wideouts. Get him into your flex spot if you're looking for a solid production floor.

Last week, the Cardinals kicker didn't have any chances to make a field goal because they scored six touchdowns instead. But I like Catanzaro's chances to get back into double-digits against the Steelers suspect defense. A kicker on a team averaging 38 points per game is a great fantasy asset.

Patrick Peterson on Antonio Brown. Mike Vick under center for Pittsburgh. This could be a feast for the second-highest scoring defensive unit in all of fantasy that already has 11 picks on the season.
