Fantasy Franchise Tag Lineup: Week 7
My nickname around the NFL Media office is "Franchise" and every week I deliver my "Fantasy Franchise Tag" lineup to help give you that boost of confidence you need to start some players on your fantasy roster. Be sure to check out my full positional player rankings, and if you're all up on the Twitter, be sure to send me some feedback @MattFranchise.

This guy's beard was basically on fire following his 25.22 fantasy point day last week against Washington. In a game where the Jets will have to score a ton of points to have any shot at keeping pace with the Patriots, I expect Ryan Fitzpatrick to keep burning in Week 7. He's a great streaming option if you have Rodgers or Dalton on bye this week and is an amazing value play in DFS.

It's too bad the Bucs had a bye right when Doug Martin was starting to heat up. In his last two games, Martin has averaged 22 rush attempts, 114.5 rush yards and scored four touchdowns. That's serious fantasy production. He faces a Washington defense that has given up 456 total yards to running backs the last two weeks. Plug Martin back into your starting lineup with confidence.

The Jets are averaging 32 rush attempts and 146 rush yards per game. Chris Ivory has been the main beneficiary of this incredible volume as he leads the NFL in rush yards per game and has logged three games with 22 or more fantasy points. We thought Ivory would be a draft steal this summer, but didn't expect this. He's an every week starter and even if the Jets face an uphill battle against the Pats, he should still be able to eat.

I'm so glad that Amari Cooper's bye is out of the way. Even with the week off, Cooper still ranks as fantasy's WR25 so far with 386 yards and two touchdowns. If you own him, you're starting him every week, despite the matchup. While he did struggle in Week 5 against the Broncos, the homerun play is always right around the corner and he should be featured in the Week 7 in-state matchup against San Diego.

Brandon Marshall has 100 yards in four straight games, has scored in all but one contest this season, and even in the game where he didn't score, he managed to collect 128 yards. That's straight fantasy gold right there. He needs to be fired up in all formats in what will likely be a shootout against the Jets AFC rival Patriots. Clearly, I'm into the Jets stack this week, if you hadn't noticed.

With Melvin Gordon struggling to produce, Danny Woodhead is the most reliable option out of the Chargers backfield for fantasy owners. Woodhead leads the team in playing time, total yards and touchdowns as he's the only San Diego back to get into the end zone this season. Plus, the Raiders pass defense ranks 31st in the NFL which bodes well for the PPR specialist in Week 7. He's a great flex play this week in all formats.

When the Vikings played Detroit in Week 2 they managed three turnovers and a sack. The young unit is allowing an average of just 16.6 points per game this year and should be able to provide fantasy owners with a decent total against the Lions on Sunday. The best part is that they're only owned in 12.1 percent of NFL.com leagues, so you can likely snag them off of the waiver wire.

The Steelers have found a kicker who can make field goals! Chris Boswell posted 15 fantasy points last week thanks two three FGs, two of which were from the 40-49 yard range and one over 50 yards. The Steelers should be able to score some points against Kansas City this week, so I expect Boswell to keep cruising.
