Fantasy Stock Watch
We've reached the "dress rehearsal" portion of the preseason. This is the week where we'll get our best idea of how different offenses will look during the regular season.

There's no concern about Brown's talent or his role in a very good offense. But there are growing concerns about Brown's health as he continues to recover from symptoms of a concussion. The speedy receiver has been pulled out of practice on multiple occasions in the past week as he deals with headaches. We're hoping that this isn't something that lingers into the season, but every concussion is a slightly different situation and this will be a thing to monitor for the near future.

Justin Forsett is the presumed headliner in this backfield, but it looks like the rest of the band could end up stealing some of his spotlight. There has been talk recently that Baltimore could go with a four-headed attack in the backfield. I now hate everything because it appears that John Harbaugh hates us. This will do a lot to put the clamps on any talk of Terrance West as a sleeper and further buries the fantasy values of Javorius Allen and Kenneth Dixon.

Maybe it's Stafford's past that is stuck in the minds of many fantasy enthusiasts, but the Lions quarterback is going largely ignored in most leagues. That needs to change. He began to turn a corner last season after Jim Bob Cooter took the reins as offensive coordinator and now the Lions are looking to be a more up-tempo offense. Detroit has gone no-huddle on more than 60 percent of its preseason plays ... and the results have been positive. At this point, you only need to spend a double-digit pick on Stafford which makes the risk almost minimal for a lot of potential reward.

Many of us have long believed that Henry would challenge for the Titans top running back job by the end of the season, but that could be happening sooner than we expected. Titans head coach Mike Mularkey says the team will "find ways" to get the ball to Henry, who has looked pretty good this preseason. The only concern is that the Titans will try to work in Dexter McCluster (which will mark the seventh consecutive year we've heard this tale). But for now, Henry has plenty of upside for anyone seeking running back depth.

Recently I've started to come around on Sproles' potential for 2016 and I can partially thank Alex Gelhar for that. The consensus is that Sproles is a better fit for Doug Pederson's offense than presumptive starter Ryan Mathews. While Sproles' value will be slightly greater in PPR leagues, his skills combined with the distinct possibility that the Eagles could often be playing from behind means that there could be a bit of a fantasy resurrection for the veteran this season.

I feel like I was one of the few people who didn't jump on the Fleener bandwagon this offseason. After having plenty of opportunity to become a star in Indianapolis with his former college roommate Andrew Luck throwing the football, it just never happened. Why was it suddenly supposed to happen now? The latest is that Fleener is having a hard time getting in sync with Drew Brees on a number of different plays. With so many viable pass-catchers in New Orleans, it could take some extra time for Fleener to become an impact player. It could still happen for him this year, but it seems unlikely to happen right away.

White faces an uphill battle to being a big contributor in the Chicago offense. After missing the entirety of last season with an injury, the West Virginia product hasn't wowed anyone so far this preseason. It's not super encouraging that Alshon Jeffery is trying to nudge the young wideout to be more physical on the field. There was always a thought that White would be a project and that evaluation is turning out to be true.

Boyd hasn't necessarily drawn a ton of fantasy excitement this preseason, but that could change with news that the rookie is the apparent leader to be the Bengals No. 2 receiver alongside A.J. Green. Brandon LaFell certainly isn't out of the picture, but injuries have limited him in the preseason so far. Add to it that Tyler Eifert might miss the first month of the season or more and there's an opportunity for Boyd to be an impact player early in the season.

We don't spend a lot of time on kickers but when a team trades up in the draft to select one in the second round, you best believe he's going to face increased scrutiny. It hasn't been a great start to Aguayo's professional career after being nearly automatic during his college career. Longtime kicking stud Adam Vinatieri has offered his support and advice, which is encouraging. The good news for fantasy enthusiasts is that there are plenty of other options available to draft if Aguayo doesn't pan out.

This is a reminder that talent usually wins out in the NFL. Just a couple of months ago, ASJ was getting kicked out of practice and there was talk that Cameron Brate could be the Bucs' starting tight end. Since then it appears that Seferian-Jenkins has had an attitude adjustment and is on his way to regaining his starting spot. He still isn't quite in the discussion to be a top 10 fantasy tight end, but at least we can put this Brate talk to rest.
