Fantasy winners and losers: Post-draft
There's been a lot of chatter following the 2013 NFL Draft about which first-year players will make an immediate impact. Here's an overview of how rookie additions will affect your fantasy draft in 2013.

Sam Bradford, QB, St. Louis Rams: It's now or never for Bradford, both on the field and in fantasy land. The Rams added offensive line help in the form of Jake Long and a pass-catching tight end in Jared Cook as free agents this offseason, and now he has a pair of talented rookie wide receivers at his disposal in West Virginia products Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. Bradford is moving into surefire No. 2 quarterback territory. (Elaine Thompson/Associated Press)

Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals: Dalton showed flashes of potential last season, but he faded statistically down the stretch and hurt owners in the postseason. He'll have no excuses in 2013, as the Bengals added a pass-catching tight end in Tyler Eifert and an electric playmaking runner in Giovani Bernard. Still, it's tough to consider Dalton much more than a No. 2 fantasy quarterback when it comes time for drafts. (Greg Trott/Associated Press)

Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City Chiefs: Charles was already in a very good position to thrive for fantasy leaguers, and that was before the Chiefs added offensive-minded head coach Andy Reid and upgraded their quarterback position with Alex Smith. Now, Charles will have No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher blocking for him and no serious competition for carries in the backfield. He's a surefire first-round selection for 2013. Chris Ivory, RB, New York Jets: Buried on the depth chart in New Orleans for the first three years of his career, Ivory was dealt to the Jets during the draft and is now in a position to break out on the stat sheets. A bruising runner who has a career average of 5.1 yards per carry, the Tiffin product should come in and become a rock-solid No. 2 fantasy running back. He'll be a top-50 overall selection in most 2013 drafts. (Kevin Terrell/Associated Press)

Chris Johnson, RB, Tennessee Titans: It's going to be tough for Johnson to complain about his offensive line this season. The Titans added the top free-agent guard in Andy Levitre, not to mention Alabama OG Chance Warmack in the first round of the draft. I still don't see CJ2K as a No. 1 fantasy running back, especially with Shonn Greene in the mix, but his stock is somewhat on the rise because of what will be an improved line. Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Jones-Drew should be motivated to produce well in a contract year, and he should have the blockers in front of him to help his statistical cause this season. The selection of Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, who some experts considered to be the top offensive tackle in the draft, is just another reason to think "Pocket Hercules" will rebound in a big way after a very forgettable 2012 campaign. (Phelan M. Ebenhack/Associated Press)

Lamar Miller, RB, Miami Dolphins: Miller barely even sniffed the gridiron as a rookie, carrying the football just 51 times. But with Reggie Bush now in Detroit and no significant additions made at the position in the draft, Miller is now the main man in this backfield -- both for the Dolphins and fantasy owners. The Miami (Fla.) product will have fantasy sleeper written all over him if he can secure a starting role, and I think that's only a matter of time. (Greg Trott/Associated Press)

The departure of Steven Jackson (Falcons) was good for the value of Pead and Richardson, who will be allowed every chance to seize the vacated top spot on the depth chart. Adding to their stock is the fact that the Rams didn't draft an impact-maker at the running back spot -- Zac Stacy was a fifth-rounder -- so a sleeper in either Pead or Richardson is a good bet to emerge this season. Jones is unlikely to be a major fantasy factor this season, but anything is possible for a wide receiver who catches passes from future Hall of Famer Tom Brady on a regular basis. Even with the addition of Aaron Dobson out of Marshall in Round 2, Jones is still considered the favorite to start opposite Danny Amendola. At worst, he is someone to monitor during training camp and the preseason. (Rob Carr/Associated Press)

The Raiders released Darrius Heyward-Bey (Colts) and lost Brandon Myers to the Giants, so it wouldn't have been a shock to see the team go after pass catchers in the NFL draft. It didn't happen, though, as the Silver & Black added two late-round picks in tight end Nick Kasa and wideout Brice Butler. That leaves the door open for Streater to start and see more chances in the pass attack moving forward. (Ross D. Franklin/Associated Press)

Alright so this is a little piling on, but Sanchez was a top-10 fantasy quarterback just two seasons ago. Now he'll be in a battle for the starting role with David Garrard, who was added during the offseason, and West Virginia's Geno Smith. Of course, that assumes that the J-E-T-S keep Sanchez on their roster at all. Regardless, Sanchez's fantasy value has taken on water and continues to sink fast. (Wlifredo Lee/Associated Press)

Bradshaw's fantasy appeal was affected due to the draft, simply because several teams filled running back needs with rookies rather than free agents -- that leaves the Marshall product with fewer suitors and far less of a chance to earn a prominent role around the league. Even if Bradshaw landed in San Diego or Tampa Bay, for example, he'd be no better than a committee runner in a best-case scenario. (Bill Kostroun/Associated Press)

Dwyer should some flashes of potential at times during last season, but I don't think the Steelers view him as a lead back at the pro level. Enter rookie Le'Veon Bell, who was a second-round selection of the Steelers and is the best bet to start even with Dywer and Isaac Redman still in the mix. That duo has gone from fantasy relevancy to fantasy afterthoughts as a result of the 2013 draft. (Gene J. Puskar/Associated Press)

So much for the Law Firm being a featured runner again. The Bengals added explosive rookie Giovani Bernard, who figures to come right in and share at least some of the workload. In fact, the North Carolina product could turn into the lightning to Green-Ellis' thunder in the backfield. Fantasy leaguers should now consider the veteran more of a No. 3 back or flex starter in most formats. (Mel Evans/Associated Press)

Harris showed well down the stretch of 2012, but his value took a major nosedive when the Packers drafted not one, but two different running backs in Alabama's Eddie Lacy and UCLA's Johnathan Franklin. That scenario puts Harris, Alex Green and James Starks in a battle for the third and fourth spots on the depth chart with little chance to make a major impact. Harris isn't even draftable now. (Jim Mahoney/Associated Press)

McGahee and Knowshon Moreno are both coming off injuries, and neither is a lock to even be on the Broncos' offense for 2013. Furthermore, the addition of rookie Montee Ball means that the team is on the verge of going in a different direction in their backfield. On the wrong side of 30 and with no guarantee that he'll see a prominent role again, McGahee is falling fast from a fantasy standpoint. (Tom DiPace/Associated Press)

Ridley is coming off a terrific fantasy season, rushing for 1,263 yards while finding the end zone 12 times. And while I still see him as the unquestioned No. 1 runner for coach Bill Belichick to open training camp, you have to be at least a little concerned with the acquisition of LeGarrette Blount in a trade from Tampa Bay. This is a backfield situation to monitor in the months to come. (Damian Strohmeyer/Associated Press)

Quick was supposed to be the top future wide receiver in St. Louis, but it's looking more and more like he'll be undraftable in fantasy leagues. The Rams now have Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey in the mix, not to mention second-year wideout Chris Givens and Jared Cook, Quick will be hard pressed to make much of an impact in seasonal leagues. Fantasy owners in dynasty formats can't like his stock at this point, either. (Jed Jacobsohn/Associated Press)

Celek has been inconsistent in terms of fantasy production in recent seasons, and now he'll have to contend with competition at the tight end position in James Casey and rookie Zach Ertz. Sure, new coach Chip Kelly likes to utilize the position in what promises to be an explosive offensive attack, but you have to think Celek is going to lose at least some of his targets. As a result, he's more of a fantasy reserve. (Michael Perez/Associated Press)

Gresham is coming off his best statistical season with 64 catches, 737 yards and five touchdowns. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, though, that appears to be his ceiling in terms of pure numbers. The fact that the Bengals added Tyler Eifert, considered the best pass-catching tight end in the 2013 draft class, is another reason to have some concern with Gresham. He's just a borderline No. 1 option. (Phelan M. Ebenhack/Associated Press)
