Free Agency Fantasy Winners and Losers
We have discussed the changing fantasy value of the old faces in new places, but how has player movement altered outlooks for players who haven't changed uniforms? Here's a look at some players whose value is on the rise (winners), and some big names who have lost some of their fantasy steam (losers).

Say it ain't so! I was a huge fan of Pryor's last season, as he threw and ran (mostly ran) onto the fantasy football radar and into some starting lineups. Unfortunately, the addition of veteran Matt Schaub has all but sealed the fate of the Ohio State product for 2014. He'll be battling Matt McGloin for the second spot on the Raiders depth chart and won't have much value to speak of in next season's drafts.

The Steelers lost Emmanuel Sanders to the Denver Broncos, making him one of the more attractive free-agent options in fantasy land. His departure is a good thing for Wheaton, who figures to step right in and start in his absence. With Jerricho Cotchery also out of the mix, Wheaton is now guaranteed to see a much bigger role in the Steelers pass attack in 2014. He can be drafted as a WR4 with significant upside.

Jackson's name has been mentioned in trade rumors in recent weeks, but for now he remains a member of the Eagles. The 10th-best wideout in fantasy football last season, he's destined to see at least some decline in targets with the return of Jeremy Maclin and the addition of pass-catching specialist Darren Sproles. To avoid the most risk, Jackson shouldn't be drafted as more than a No. 2 fantasy wideout.

Randle showed flashes of potential last season, posting 41 catches, 611 receiving yards and six touchdowns despite starting just three games. He'll move into a more prominent role in 2014, however, as the G-Men lost Hakeem Nicks to the Indianapolis Colts. New York's offense should improve under new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, so Randle could push or surpass the 1,000-yard mark. He's going to be a popular sleeper in fantasy land.

Randle might be a winner, but his teammate David Wilson hasn't been as fortunate this offseason. The Giants added Rashad Jennings to the backfield, and he has to be considered the favorite to start in Week 1. That leaves Wilson, who is coming back from spinal fusion surgery, as the No. 2 option in a backfield committee or on the depth chart. Either way, he's lost a lot of the value he had heading into last season.

Rashard Mendenhall's sudden retirement and the addition of left tackle Jared Veldheer have Ellington's fantasy value on the rise. The team added just one running back, Jonathan Dwyer, and he's no threat to be more than second on the depth chart (at best.) Head coach Bruce Arians has also said that he wants to build the offense around Ellington, making him a potential sleeper/breakout candidate in fantasy football.

I know, Ahmad Bradshaw is about as durable as a house of cards in a wind storm. But the fact that the Colts re-signed him with Vick Ballard also in the mix has to be a concern for fantasy owners. T-Rich was dreadful in blue and white last season, rushing for two yards or fewer on 101 of his 188 carries. So while he's still the clear No. 1 on the depth chart, a committee situation is still possible for 2014.

Williams is going to be a name to remember when it comes time to draft your 2014 fantasy teams. He's the unquestioned starter in Dallas after the release of Miles Austin, and the presence of new offensive coordinator Scott Linehan makes him more attractive. In an offensive attack that should throw the football a ton, Williams has a massive level of statistical potential and is now clearly on the WR3 radar.

Has any player had a worse offseason than Newton? First, he lost his three top wide receivers (Steve Smith, Brandon LaFell, Ted Ginn) from last season, then news broke that he needed a surgical procedure on his ankle that will keep him out of action for four months. While it's tough to push Newton down too far based on his past success, I've moved Andrew Luck and Nick Foles ahead of him at the quarterback spot.

The Broncos don't seem to have much interest in bring back Knowshon Moreno, who finished fifth in fantasy points among running backs last season. That leaves Ball as the favorite to take over the prized top spot on the team's backfield depth chart. With one season of NFL experience under his belt and Peyton Manning under center, Ball is in the mix as a borderline No. 1 or 2 fantasy running back next season.
