Gil Brandt's top five college football senior guards/centers
There is talent in this group, but not the exceptional sort found atop the 2013 NFL Draft class.

In the 2013 NFL Draft, guards Jonathan Cooper and Chance Warmack were selected with the No. 7 and No. 10 overall picks, respectively. While I don't think that this will happen again next year, there are some very good players at the guard and center positions for the 2014 draft.

The 6-foot-3 1/4, 331-pound Jackson runs the 40-yard dash in 5.25 seconds, has started 36 games over three seasons and was a first-team all-SEC pick in 2012. Jackson is a first-round possibility and should have a long NFL career. He isn't at the same level as Warmack (the 2013 first-round pick of the Tennessee Titans), who was exceptional.

Richardson (6-foot-4 1/2, 335 pounds) runs a 5.35-second 40-yard dash. He is a three-year starter who played left tackle as a freshman, but has started the last three seasons at left guard. He is very strong with long arms.

Long (6-foot-4 5/8, 315 pounds) runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds. Long -- who plays right guard -- is very strong and has been a three-year starter for the Cornhuskers. This is the best player on the best offensive line at Nebraska since 2002.

The 6-foot-4 5/8, 311-pound Stork is part of a very good offensive line at Florida State. He has started for the Seminoles since his redshirt freshman season of 2010. Stork -- who runs a 5.3-second 40-yard dash -- is a smart player, which is what teams need at the center position.

The 6-foot-3, 318-pound Watt is entering his third season as a starter for the Fighting Irish (he's currently the team's left guard). He runs a 5.3-second 40-yard dash, has the strength necessary to play the guard position and is a good run blocker.
