Mind-blowing stats for 2016 Week 3
Jacoby Brissett may be facing his first career start, but it's nothing new for Bill Belichick. Take a look at the Patriots' chances for a win with these mind-blowing stats for Week 3.

Good news, Jacoby Brissett. Quarterbacks to make their first career start under Bill Belichick are 5-0, the best such mark in NFL history. Brissett could join Todd Philcox, Eric Zeier, Tom Brady, Matt Cassel, and Jimmy Garoppolo, who all earned wins in their maiden NFL starting voyage.

Since allowing a 104.9 passer rating to Ryan Tannehill in Week 12, 2014, the Broncos defense has gone 28 straight games (including playoffs) without allowing an opposing QB to post a passer rating of 100+ in a game. Andy Dalton, who leads the NFL with 732 pass yards this season, has a 104.2 passer rating since 2015 (3rd-best in the NFL).

DeAngelo Williams leads the NFL in touches (68), rushing yards (237), and scrimmage TD (3, tied) this season, despite being the NFL's oldest active running back at 33.

Odell Beckham Jr. has 199 receptions in 29 career games. Assuming he gets one reception against the Redskins, he will reach 200 receptions in fewer games than any player in NFL history. He'll break the record set by his former LSU teammate, Jarvis Landry, in Week 1 (33 games).

Both Sam Bradford and Cam Newton are 4-3 in their last 7 starts (including playoffs). In that span, Bradford has a higher completion percentage (68.4 to 60.5), more passing yards per game (278.6 to 249.0), a better TD-INT ratio (11-4 to 10-4), and higher passer rating (99.1 to 93.0) than Newton.

Marcus Peters and Darrelle Revis have each been targeted in coverage 15 times this season, but that's where the similarities end. Peters has 2 INT and has allowed just 76 yards and a 50.3 passer rating. Revis has no INT and has allowed 242 yards and a perfect 158.3 passer rating in coverage.

Aaron Rodgers has registered a passer rating below 100 in 14 straight games, including playoffs. That's more than twice as long as the next-longest active streak, held by Alex Smith at 6 games.

Since 2015, the Cowboys are just 1-8 at AT&T Stadium. In that span, the University of Alabama is 3-0 at AT&T Stadium, outscoring opponents 125-23.

Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott has thrown 75 passes without an INT, an NFL record for most passes without an INT in a player's first 2 career games. Since 2000, only Tom Brady has more pass attempts (81) without throwing a TD or an INT to start a career.

The Falcons and Saints meet 10 years and 1 day after Steve Gleason and New Orleans re-opened the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina, beating the Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 3, 2006. Five current Saints or Falcons players (NO QB Drew Brees, NO G Jahri Evans, NO S Roman Harper, ATL QB Matt Schaub and ATL DT Jonathan Babineaux) played in that game.
