Mind-blowing stats for Championship Sunday
Find out which quarterback playing on Championship Weekend has the highest playoff QB rating as our NFL research team brings you the best mind-blowing stats for this Sunday's games.

Tom Brady owns a number of notable all-time postseason records, among them: most postseason starts by QB (27); most postseason wins by QB (19); and most TD passes (46).

Kam Chancellor has three-straight playoff games with at least one interception, which ties him with 28 players including Deion Sanders (with SF/DAL, 1994-95) and Eric Davis (1994). With an INT on Sunday, Chancellor would move to the top of the list, where he would join Rodney Harrison (NE, 2004-07) and Aeneas Williams (ARI/STL, 1998-2001).

Through their first 48 career regular-season starts, Andrew Luck and Tom Brady have an identical passer rating of 86.6. In those first 48 games, Brady has the edge in wins (36 to 33) and comp pct (62.1 to 58.6), while Luck has more pass YPG (269.9 to 223.6) and TDs (86 to 74). In that all-important stat, Brady had two Super Bowl rings through 48 regular-season starts.

There have been 6 instances of teams meeting in Week 1 and then again in the conference championship game. Each time, the team that won in Week 1 also won the conference championship. The most recent such team was Kurt Warner's 2001 Rams, who beat the Eagles in both games.

Among active players, Richard Sherman has the lowest passer rating allowed in the postseason (min 20 targets). In two games versus the Seahawks since Sherman joined the NFL in 2011, Aaron Rodgers targeted Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb a combined 28
times. Sherman was not covering Nelson or Cobb on any of those attempts. Rodgers did not target Sherman in their Week 1 game.

Against QBs who have won at least one Super Bowl, Russell Wilson is 9-0 in the regular season and playoffs. Wilson is 2-0 vs. Eli Manning; 2-0 vs. Drew Brees; 2-0 vs. Peyton Manning; 2-0 vs. Aaron Rodgers; and 1-0 vs. Tom Brady. In those nine games, Wilson has thrown 15 TDs, 4 INTs, and has a passer rating of 104.7.

Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson are the two highest-rated passers in playoff history ... but did you know that Wilson (109.6) ranks ahead of Rodgers (105.3) on this list? Bart Starr (104.8) ranks third, while Kurt Warner (102.8) is fourth.

Tom Brady is 12-4 all-time against the Colts (including the postseason), which is the best record by a QB versus the Colts in NFL history (min. 10 starts).

At 113.6 receiving yards per game, T.Y. Hilton has the most receiving YPG in playoff history (minimum 5 games). Larry Fitzgerald is next on this list at 105.1 YPG.

Adam Vinatieri will break a tie with Jerry Rice for most postseason games played this weekend. Vinatieri's 30 games played will be two more than Tom Brady, who will be playing in his 28th playoff game on Sunday.
