Drew Brees (6'0") and Russell Wilson (5'11") will tie for the shortest combined height of starting QBs in the postseason, since 1950. Their combined height of 11'11" matches that of Fran Tarkenton (6'0") and Pat Haden (5'11"), who matched up in playoff games between the Vikings and Rams in both 1976 and 1978. Otto Graham (6'1") of the Browns squared off in the playoffs against Travis Tidwell of the Giants (5'10") in 1950. The only matchup won by the shorter QB was the 1978 Divisional Round game, when Haden's Rams beat Tarkenton's Vikings, 34-10.

The Seahawks are looking to reverse a negative trend for No. 1 seeds in the NFC, who have been "one and done" in four of the last six seasons (2011 Packers, 2010 Falcons, 2008 Giants, 2007 Cowboys).
