Thursday marks the second time the Cowboys and Raiders will face each other on Thanksgiving Day, with Dallas winning the first showdown, 24-7, in 2009.

The Cowboys took a chance in 1966 as one of the newer teams in the NFL and volunteered to host a game on Thanksgiving Day. In front of a record crowd of 80,259 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, the Cowboys defeated the Cleveland Browns, 26-14. Tony Romo has lost only one November home game in his career. With a record of 15-1 in Dallas, Romo's only home loss came last Thanksgiving against the Redskins.
