Mind-blowing stats for the Cleveland Browns
The Browns have used 22 different starting quarterbacks since returning to Cleveland in 1999. See who they are, and more in our mind-blowing stats for the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns QB position has been a major source of struggle since their return to Cleveland in 1999. They have used 22 different starting quarterbacks in that span, 4 more than any other team. In the six-season stretch from 2007-2012, the Browns had six different Week 1 starting QBs (Charlie Frye, Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn, Jake Delhomme, Colt McCoy, Brandon Weeden), tied for the third-longest streak of different opening week starters since 1950. Only the 1997-2003 Ravens and 1987-1993 Chargers had longer streaks (7 seasons each).

The Browns are 6-36 against the other current AFC North quarterbacks. Joe Flacco is 13-1 in his career against the Browns, while Ben Roethlisberger is 18-2 and Andy Dalton is 5-3.

The Browns have not won a division title since 1989 with Bernie Kosar at quarterback. Even if the Browns had not missed three seasons of action after the team moved to Baltimore, they would still own the longest streak without a division title -- next on the list is the Detroit Lions, who last won their division in 1993.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown averaged 6.4 yards per rush in 1963 while rushing for 1,863 yards on 291 rushes. That is still the highest yards-per-rush average for any season in NFL history for a player with a minimum of 150 rushes. The rest of the league averaged 4.0 yards per rush that season.

Ravens General Manager and Executive VP Ozzie Newsome is a Hall of Fame tight end who played for the Browns from 1978-1990. At the time of his retirement, Newsome was the all-time leader among tight ends with 662 receptions and 7,980 receiving yards. Those totals still both rank 5th among tight ends.

The Browns have drafted five quarterbacks in the first round of the common draft (Mike Phipps, Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden and Johnny Manziel). Phipps is the only one to start a playoff game for the Browns (1972 Divisional loss at Miami, 20-14) and none of the quarterbacks have won a playoff game in their career.

In 1970, the Browns played in the first ever Monday Night Football game, defeating the New York Jets 31-21, led by Bill Nelsen and Leroy Kelly. Since then, the Browns have played 29 more Monday night games, with their last coming in 2009. With 15 wins and 15 losses, the Browns haven't won a Monday night game since 2008, when they beat the Buffalo Bills 29-27. They'll have a chance to snap that streak in Week 12 vs. the Ravens.
