With 12 seasons under his belt, no active player has spent more time with the Chiefs than Derrick Johnson. But longevity is not Johnson's best attribute; it's playmaking. Since entering the NFL in 2005, Johnson is the only player in the league to amass 900 tackles, 20 forced fumbles and 10 interceptions. Johnson's stat-line reads 985-22-13 respectively and oh by the way, he posted those numbers even after missing most of 2014 with a torn Achilles.

Ryan Kalil was part of a juggernaut offense in 2015 as the Carolina Panthers scored an NFL-best 500 points. In fact the Panthers became the first team to average 30+ PPG without a 1,000-yard rusher or 1,000-yard wide receiver since the 1967 Raiders. That Raiders team featured Daryle Lamonica and George Blanda who lost to Bart Starr's Packers 33-14 in Super Bowl II.

It's easy to see why the Jaguars are excited to welcome running back Chris Ivory to the team this season. Ivory finished fifth in the NFL in rushing last season with 1,070 yards. In the history of the Jaguars organization (since 1995) they have only had one running back finish top-five in rushing in a season. From 2009-2011, Maurice Jones-Drew ranked top-five in rushing each season including 2011, when he led the NFL with 1,606 yards.

Jordan Reed had a banner year posting career-highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns. Not to mention tying Rob Gronkowski for second-most touchdown receptions among tight ends. But it was his impact on QB Kirk Cousins that made the biggest difference. When Reed was on the field last year, Cousins had a 111.9 passer rating combined with 24 touchdowns to just four interceptions. When Reed was off the field, Cousins' passer rating dipped to 73.3 and he tossed only five touchdowns with seven interceptions.

Linval Joseph made a name for himself doing the dirty work as a tough, run-stopping defensive tackle. But in Week 9 of last season, he stuffed the stat sheet enough to become just the fourth Vikings defensive tackle in team history to win Defensive Player of the Week honors. The others were Hall of Famer John Randle and All-Pros Keith Millard and Kevin Williams.

As for Joseph's big game, he recorded a career-high 10 tackles which tied Ndamukong Suh for the most by a defensive tackle in a single game in 2015.

In eight seasons, Jamaal Charles already has the most 1,000-yard rushing seasons in Chiefs history with five. But it is Charles' ability as a dual-threat running back that makes him special. Since 2009, Charles has 44 scrimmage TDs (rushing + receiving) and the only running back in the NFL who has more in that span is Marshawn Lynch (46).

Sometimes a change of scenery can have a big impact on a player. Emmanuel Sanders began his career in Pittsburgh in 2010 and through his first four seasons did not record a single 100-yard receiving game. But after joining the Broncos in 2014, Sanders has erupted for eleven 100-yard games, which is the 6th-most in the NFL over that span.

Harrison Smith entered the NFL in 2012 and has been making big plays ever since. In that span, he joins All-Pro Luke Kuechly and Pro Bowler Reshad Jones as the only players in the NFL with five or more sacks and 10 or more interceptions.

Smith also knows what to do when he snags an interception as his four career INT-return for touchdowns are the most in Vikings history.

Doug Baldwin had incredible season in 2015 by becoming just the third Seahawks wide receiver with 1,000+ receiving yards and 10+ touchdowns in a season (Joey Galloway & Steve Largent). But from Week 12-16, Baldwin put on a five-game performance that will go down as one of the best stretches ever. Baldwin hauled in 11 touchdowns, which were the second-most in NFL history behind only Hall of Famer Jerry Rice who had 12 touchdowns in five games in 1987.

Calais Campbell has been a nuisance to quarterbacks ever since he became a full-time starter in 2009. Since then, he has recorded at least five sacks every season with the Cardinals including a career-high nine in 2013. For his career, Campbell has 48.5 sacks which are the second-most by a Cardinals player since the team moved to Arizona in 1988. The only player with more is Simeon Rice who recorded 51.5 sacks during his time with the Cardinals.
