Mind-blowing stats for the Top 100 Players of 2016: 91-100
The "Top 100 Players of 2016" countdown has begun. See the mind-blowing stats which prove why these guys are on the list.

There's a new sheriff in town. In 2015, Derek Carr threw 32 TD passes, moving ahead of Peyton Manning for the second-most passing TDs in a player's first two seasons. Carr's 53 TD passes through two seasons are 15 fewer than Dan Marino, and one more than Manning's 52.

Cameron Jordan was part of the high-profile 2011 draft class that featured the likes of J.J. Watt, Von Miller, Aldon Smith, Robert Quinn and Patrick Peterson to name a few. But Jordan and Watt are the only two players in that entire draft class to play in all 80 games and record 30 or more sacks.

Jarvis Landry is off to a fast start to his career. He set the NFL record for most receptions in a player's first two seasons with 194, which is seven more than his former college teammate, Odell Beckham, Jr. Both players are ahead second-year record of 168 combined receptions that Marques Colston achieved.

Richie Incognito was part of an offensive line that helped lead the NFL in rushing yards. In fact, the Bills' 2,432 yards on the ground were Buffalo's most in a season since the 1992 team rattled off 2,436 yards en route to their third of four Super Bowl runs.

Sammy Watkins caught fire in the second half of the season. Over his final nine games he had 900 receiving yards, which was the third-most in the NFL over that span. The only two players ahead of him? Julio Jones and Antonio Brown, who finished 1-2 in receiving yards for the entire season.

Mike Daniels was a presence on the Packers' defensive line as he led the D-line in sacks and tackles last season. But it was his Week 16 interception vs. Arizona that got him in the Packers record books as his 23-yard return was the longest by a Packers defensive tackle since 1960.

In 2015, Gary Barnidge joined Kellen Winslow Jr. and Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome as the only Browns tight ends with 1,000-yard seasons. He also tied Newsome for the most receiving TDs by a TE in Browns history with nine.

Jeremy Maclin led the Chiefs in receiving touchdowns last season with eight. But it was his TD reception in Week 3 that was the most notable. Prior to that 3rd quarter touchdown pass, no Chiefs WR had caught a TD in 86 quarters spanning 21 games and 659 days. That is the longest such streak since 1940.

In 2015, Andrew Luck missed nine games with shoulder and kidney injuries. Luck still ranks fifth all-time in passing TDs (101) and passing yards (14,838) through a player's first four NFL seasons.

Travis Kelce posted a career-high 875 yards in 2015. But it was his Wild Card playoff performance that stood out most. Kelce recorded 128 receiving yards in the Chiefs victory over the Texans. It was the 3rd-most in Chiefs single- game playoff history. Kelce also became the first Chiefs tight end to reach the 100-yard receiving mark in a playoff game. Not even the great Tony Gonzalez surpassed 55 yards in a game in his Chiefs postseason career.
