Mind-blowing stats for the Top 100 Players of 2017: 10-1
The "Top 100 Players of 2017" continues. See the mind-blowing stats which prove why these guys are on the list.

In 2016, the NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year set career highs in passing yards (4,944), passing touchdowns (38) and passer rating (117.1). Ryan became the fourth player ever with 300-plus passing yards per game and a 115-plus passer rating. He also led the Falcons to become one of five teams in NFL history to average 33-plus points per game and 415-plus yards per game this season.

Despite missing four games in 2016, Le'Veon Bell was fifth in the NFL in rush yards (1,268). Bell led the NFL with 157.0 scrimmage yards per game, and his standout performance in week 14 against the Bills made him the only player in NFL history with 200-plus rush yards and three rushing touchdowns in a single game.

Odell Beckham Jr. became the third player in NFL history to begin his career with three-straight seasons of 1,000-plus receiving yards and 10-plus receiving touchdowns (Randy Moss and John Jefferson are the other two). Beckham alone accounted for 33.9% of the Giants receiving yards, tied with Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry for the most career receptions in a player's first three seasons in NFL history (288).

In his rookie year, Ezekiel Elliott led the NFL in carries (322) and rushing yards (1,631). Elliott became the first rookie to lead the NFL in rushing yards since Edgerrin James in 1999. Elliott had the most rushing yards and rushing TDs by any Cowboys rookie. Three of the four previous rookies to lead the NFL in rushing in the Super Bowl era saw an increase in rushing yards in their sophomore season.

In 2016, Aaron Rodgers led the NFL with 40 passing touchdowns. Rodgers has had three-straight seasons with 30-plus touchdown passes and fewer than 10 interceptions, the longest such streak in NFL history. He is the only quarterback in NFL history with a career passer rating over 100 (104.1). His touchdown:interception ratio of 4.1:1 is also the best in NFL history.

Khalil Mack terrorized offenses in 2016, accumulating 11.0 sacks, 26 QB hits and five forced fumbles. Since 2015, Mack has shown his dominance through all four quarters with not only the most sacks overall (26.0), but also the most sacks in the fourth quarter (11.0). Mack is one of four defensive players in the NFL to be named First-Team All-Pro in each of the last two seasons (the others being Eric Berry, Aaron Donald and Von Miller).

For three-straight seasons, Antonio Brown has gained 100+ receptions, 1,000-plus yards, and 10-plus receiving TDs. He currently owns the NFL record for receptions in a four-season span (481 receptions over the last four years). Over the last five years, Brown has the most receptions (547) and the most receiving yards (7,102).

In 2016, Julio Jones was the only player in the NFL to average 100-plus receiving yards per game (100.6). Jones has the highest career receiving yards per game (96.3) of any player in NFL history with 50+ games played. He has also gone three-straight seasons with 1,400-plus receiving yards (second to Marvin Harrison for the longest streak in NFL history).

With 13.5 sacks in 2016, Von Miller has finished with five 10-sack seasons since entering the NFL in 2011. In the same time span, he has been named to five Pro Bowls and has registered 73.5 sacks in his first 88 career games.

In 2016, Tom Brady won his fifth Super Bowl, the most among all starting quarterbacks. Brady also had the most passing yards per game, the best touchdown-interception ratio and the highest passer rating by any quarterback in NFL history at the age of 39-or-older. Brady only needs four more wins to set the all-time record for quarterback wins (Peyton Manning and Brett Favre each have 186).
