Mind-blowing stats for the Top 100 Players of 2017: 20-11
The "Top 100 Players of 2017" continues. See the mind-blowing stats which prove why these guys are on the list.

Despite missing nine total games in between the last two seasons due to injury, Kuechly has consistently been able to perform, racking up more than 100 tackles every season since entering the NFL in 2012. His 693 tackles since 2012 are the most in the NFL.

Since entering the league in 2011, Patrick Peterson has made the Pro Bowl in every single season (6), the most among all cornerbacks since 2011. From 2011-2014, Peterson was targeted by teams 99.3 times per season. This number has since dropped to 71.5 since 2015 along with a 71.5 passer rating when he was targeted during the 2016 season.

Tyron Smith's selection into the 2016 First-Team All-Pro team makes him one of two offensive tackles to have been named into the team multiple times since 2014. With Smith's help, the Cowboys ranked top 10 in rushing in each of the last three seasons, ranking second in the league in rush yards before contact (2.36) since 2014.

Even having missed six games during the 2016 season due to a hamstring injury, Green was still able to make 66 receptions for 964 yards and four receiving touchdowns. Through Week 11 of the 2016 season, Green was second in the NFL for receiving yardage. Due to his injury, Green ended his streak of seasons with 1,000-plus yards at five. He was one of two players to have begun their careers with five or more seasons of 1,000-plus yards (Randy Moss did so with six seasons).

In 2016, Drew Brees led the NFL in passing yards (5,208) for a record-setting seventh time in his career. Brees also ranks first in NFL history in completion percentage (66.6), 5,000-yard seasons (5), and 300-yard games (106). His five career 5,000-yard seasons are one more than every other player in NFL history combined (Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino and Matthew Stafford each only have one).

Since entering the NFL in 2014, Aaron Donald has led all defensive tackles with 28.0 sacks and led the NFL this year with 31 QB hits (five more than any other player). Donald is one of four defensive players in the NFL First-Team All-Pro team in each of the last two seasons.

In his rookie year, Dak Prescott tore up the NFL with the best completion percentage (67.8), TD-INT ratio (5.8) and passer rating (104.9) of any rookie quarterback in NFL history. After playing 11 games with a 100-plus passer rating, Prescott achieved the most wins by a rookie quarterback in NFL history (13) and was also the first Cowboys rookie quarterback to start a playoff game.

In 2016, Eric Berry returned two interceptions for touchdowns, the most in the NFL. His 77 tackles, four interceptions and nine passes defended this season allowed him to make the First-Team All-Pro team once more. Berry is tied for most First-Team All-Pro selections by a defensive player since 2013 (three) -- Luke Kuechly and J.J. Watt also have three.

David Johnson led the NFL in scrimmage yards (2,118) and total touchdowns (20). Johnson became the 10th player in NFL history with 20-plus touchdowns and 2,000-plus scrimmage yards. Despite falling only 121 receiving yards short of becoming the third player in NFL history with 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards in a season, his 15 straight games with 100-plus scrimmage yards this season matches Barry Sander's NFL record.

Derek Carr had a career year in 2016, achieving a career high 63.8 completion percentage while totaling 3,937 passing yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions. Carr has consistently increased his passer rating in each of his three NFL seasons (2014: 76.6, 2015: 91.1, 2016: 96.7). Carr's outstanding late-game performances also allow him to lead the league in fourth quarter comebacks since 2015 (11).
