Of the six teams in the Super Bowl era to start 13-0 or better and lose, three lost to New York teams. The 2009 Colts were 14-0 when they lost, 29-15, to the Jets. The 1998 Broncos were 13-0 when they lost, 20-16, at the Giants. Most notably, the 2007 Patriots were 18-0 when they lost, 17-14, to Eli Manning and the Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are tied for the most combined TD receptions in the NFL this season with 20 (Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns). Marshall and Decker each have a TD reception in seven different games this season. The Jets' duo is only the second set of teammates to ever pull off that feat, joining Randy Moss and Cris Carter for the 1998 Minnesota Vikings.

The Broncos are the only NFL team yet to allow 30+ points in a game this season. The Steelers have scored 30+ points in five straight games, the longest single-season streak in their 81-season franchise history.

Brock Osweiler is 3-0 against Pro Bowl quarterbacks this season, and 0-1 against QBs who never made a Pro Bowl. He has defeated Jay Cutler (one Pro Bowl), Tom Brady (10 Pro Bowls), and Philip Rivers (five Pro Bowls). Osweiler's only defeat came at the hands of Derek Carr. Week 15 opponent Ben Roethlisberger has played in three Pro Bowls.

Odell Beckham Jr. is the 10th player since 1960 to have a streak of six straight 100-yard receiving games. It is the longest active streak in the NFL. With two more such games, Beckham would tie Calvin Johnson's record, set in 2012.

Cam Newton has won 16 straight starts, which makes him the fourth QB to win 16+ straight starts, joining Super Bowl winners Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Jim McMahon. Manning and Brady have two such streaks.

Derek Carr and Aaron Rodgers have thrown the same number of touchdowns this season (28), and are only separated by one point in passer rating. Rodgers is at 97.5, while Carr is at 96.5.

The Titans-Patriots game features two players with the longest receptions by quarterbacks this season: Marcus Mariota (41 yards) and Tom Brady (36 yards). Mariota and Brady each have a longer reception than Eric Decker (35), Phillip Dorsett (35), Andre Johnson (35), Mike Wallace (25) and Roddy White (25) this year.

The Cardinals have their first seven-game winning streak since 1974, when the St. Louis Cardinals won their first seven games behind QB Jim Hart, and an offensive line led by Dan Dierdorf and Conrad Dobler. Don Coryell was the head coach of that team. The Cardinals have not won eight straight games within a season since 1948, when they won 10 straight. In 1948, Harry Truman was president and Babe Ruth passed away at age 53.
