Games are averaging 46.10 points this season, which would rank as second-highest of any season in NFL history. Teams have combined to score 542 touchdowns - the most at this point in NFL history. The previous record was 529 in 2002.

Andy Reid's history may hold promise for fans of the Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL's only undefeated team at 7-0. During Reid's 12 seasons as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, his teams won the first three games of a season only once. In 2004, the Eagles started 7-0 and finished the regular season 13–3, before advancing to Super Bowl XXXIX, where they lost to the New England Patriots.

Tony Romo has now started 100 games in his career. He is 59-41 with 27,485 yards passing in those starts, the most passing yards in a player's first 100 starts since at least 1960. The next three guys on the list will be enshrined in Canton (Kurt Warner, Dan Marino and Peyton Manning). Will Romo?

Larry Fitzgerald has 32 receptions for 422 yards and four touchdowns this season. He is four receptions shy of becoming the fifth fastest player to 800 career receptions. More impressive, Fitzgerald will be 30 years, 57 days old on Sunday, which would make him the youngest player to reach that impressive receiving mark.

Rex Ryan's 4-3 Jets are the only team in the league to rank in the bottom 5 in turnover differential (-11), yet still have a winning record. The other teams in that select group – the Giants (-14), Texans (-11), Steelers (-10) and Jaguars (-7) – have a combined record of 5-22.

After leading the NFL in third-down conversions in 2012 (48.7 pct), Tom Brady's Patriots offense ranks 28th in the NFL on third down (37.5 pct). During New England's last three games, they have gone 7 for 39 (17.9 pct) on third down. The Bengals and Jets are most appreciative.

The Patriots rush defense has suffered since the loss of Vince Wilfork. Weeks 1-4 with Wilfork, they allowed 105.0 rushing yards per game, including seven runs of 10+ yards. Weeks 5-7 without Wilfork, the Patriots have allowed 156.7 rushing yards per game, including 11 runs of 10+ yards.

The Broncos are currently ranked 27th in the NFL, allowing 28.1 PPG this season. No team has ranked that low and won the Super Bowl. The 2011 Giants ranking lowest among all Super Bowl winners in scoring defense. They ranked 25th that season, allowing 25.0 PPG.

Colin Kaepernick has now started seven regular season games in each of the last two seasons. What do the numbers say? His passing stats have dropped off in all categories: completion percentage (down 5.9 pct. points to 56.6), passing yards per game (down almost 27 yards per game to 202.9), TD-INT ratio (10-3 to 8-5) and passer rating (down 14.9 points to 85.0). However, Kaepernick's rushing numbers are nearly identical (about 34 yards per game, at 5.7 yards per carry). The most important numbers – wins and losses – are also identical, at 5-2.

With Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley out and James Jones' status for Sunday uncertain, Aaron Rodgers would be missing three receivers who have accounted for 51.7 percent of his completions in 2013. The Packers do have 808 rushing yards through six games, most for them since 2003. The Packers' yards per rush of 4.9 ranks third, behind only the Eagles and Redskins.

Seahawks opponents are 0-6 the week after facing Seattle this season. The Seahawks' first six opponents – Panthers, 49ers, Jaguars, Texans, Colts and Titans -- were outscored 172-62 in their next games after playing Seattle.
