Mind-boggling stats: 2019 Inside Training Camp
There's a lot of intrigue heading into every NFL season, and this season's historic campaign will certainly be no different.
After a historic offseason that left hardly any team untouched, we eagerly await the results of the seismic waves created by landscape-altering offseason trades (most notably involving wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Antonio Brown) and the production (or lackthereof) of players and coaches both young and seasoned (such as Kyler Murray and Matt LaFleur).
The energy surrounding all 32 teams heading into the NFL's 100th season is reaching an all-time high as players start reporting to training camp to begin team practice. Take a look at some of the most Mind-Boggling Stats and storylines as we head into 2019 NFL Training Camp.

Will there be a dropoff for 2018 MVP Patrick Mahomes?
Mahomes will need to break the mold to repeat a historical 2018 season with 5,097 passing yards and 50 passing touchdowns. No QB has ever thrown 45-plus TDs in consecutive seasons and only all-time yards leader Drew Brees has thrown 5,000-plus pass yards in consecutive seasons.

Will No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray have more success than Josh Rosen?
A year after winning the Heisman Trophy, Murray will have every opportunity to outperform his predecessors. Rosen had a 66.7 passer rating last season (last in NFL among 33 qualified QBs) and rookie Cardinals QBs have posted a 59.3 passer rating and a 20-39 record as a whole since the NFL merger.

Will the Cowboys offense improve with a full season of Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Amari Cooper
After acquiring Cooper at the trade deadline, the Cowboys offense averaged 42.3 more yards per game (362.3), Prescott's passer rating jumped by 15.6 (103.0), Elliott posted an additional 37.5 scrimmage yards per game (150.9), and the Cowboys went 7-2 down the stretch to win the division.

Will Brady and Belichick continue to rule the NFL in their 20th year together?
If they log double-digit wins in 2019, the New England Patriots would extend their streak of seasons with 10 -plus wins to 17, breaking a tie with the San Francisco 49ers (1983-1998) for longest such streak in NFL history. Odds are good, considering their .764 win percentage and +2,645 point differential in the Brady-Belichick era (since 2001) are both the highest in the NFL.

Will the addition of Earl Thomas be enough to offset several key losses from the NFL's No. 1 total defense
A year after leading the league in total defense (292.9 total YPG allowed) the Ravens lost their tackle-leader in C.J. Mosley (105), their sack-leader in Za'Darius Smith (8.5) and their tackles-for-loss-leader in Terrell Suggs (13). They will look for big production from three-time first-team All-Pro safety Earl Thomas, the only player in the NFL with 25-plus interceptions and 10-plus forced fumbles since 2010.

After "winning the offseason," will the Browns win enough real games to return to the playoffs?
The Browns brought in four Pro Bowlers this offseason: WR Odell Beckham Jr., DT Sheldon Richardson, RB Kareem Hunt, and DE Olivier Vernon. The new-look Browns will be pursuing their first winning season since 2007, their first playoff appearance since 2002 and potentially their first division title since 1989.

Will the Steelers be better off without Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown?
Since 2013, Bell leads the NFL with 129.0 scrimmage yards per game (min. 50 games) and Brown leads the NFL in receiving yards (9,145) and touchdowns (67). That said, their replacements might be up to the task: RB James Conner averaged 113.1 scrimmage YPG last season (sixth in NFL) and WR JuJu Smith-Schuster led the team with 111 receptions and 1,426 receiving yards.

Will Todd Gurley return to 100 percent in 2019?
After missing the last two games of the 2018 season (knee) and averaging only 10 carries and 53.3 rushing yards per game in the playoffs, Gurley will look to bounce back in 2019. His health could be crucial for the Rams, as the team is 17-1 since 2017 when Gurley has 20-plus touches (including playoffs) -- largely due to his league-leading 40 scrimmage touchdowns over that span.

Will Aaron Rodgers gel with new head coach Matt LaFleur?
Despite holding the highest career passer rating in NFL history at 103.1 (min. 1,000 attempts), Rodgers' numbers declined over the last two seasons under Mike McCarthy, including a 98.6 passer rating, down from 104.5 in his first nine seasons. Meanwhile, LaFleur brings a resume as QB coach and offensive coordinator that includes Robert Griffin III's Rookie-of-the-Year season (2012) and Matt Ryan's MVP season (2016).

Will Carson Wentz stay healthy and justify his huge contract extension?
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Wentz has missed eight regular season games and five playoff games over the past two seasons (knee, back), but locked in a four-year, $128M contract extension this offseason. Now sporting the fourth-highest average annual salary in the league ($32M), Wentz will look to improve on strong 2018 finishes in pass yards per game (279.5, eighth in NFL) and passer rating (102.2, seventh in NFL).
