Despite being known as a prolific passer, Andrew Luck is comfortable moving the chains with his legs. Luck has 14 career rushing touchdowns along with 1,590 career rushing yards. His 14 rushing touchdowns is tied for sixth most among all quarterbacks since 2012.

In his seven seasons in the NFL, Andrew Luck has posted four seasons with over 4,000 passing yards: 2012 (4,374 yards), 2014 (4,761 yards), 2016 (4,240 yards), and 2018 (4,593 yards). In all of these seasons aside from 2012, Luck had a passer rating of over 96%.

After undergoing shoulder surgery in his throwing arm following the 2016 season (and subsequently sitting out the entire 2017 season), Andrew Luck came back on September 9, 2018 against the Cincinnati Bengals, 616 days in between starts.

His extremely productive 2018 season – featuring a career high 67.3% completion percentage and 98.7 passer rating and career seconds in passing yards (4,593 yards) and passing touchdowns (39) – helped lead the Colts to the playoffs and earned him the 2018 AP Comeback Player of the Year award.

After a 1-5 start to the season, Luck and the Colts finished the last 11 games of their season with a record of 10-1. Despite earning a Wild Card victory against the Houston Texans, their season was ended by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round where the Colts were defeated by a score of 31-13.
