Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers have only met once before when the Packers defeated the Patriots 26-21 in Green Bay (Week 13, 2014). Rodgers threw for 368 yards, two touchdowns and had a 112.6 passer rating. Brady threw for 245 yards, two touchdowns and had a 102.7 passer rating. Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady hold two of the three highest career passer ratings in NFL history at 103.8 (1st) and 97.6 (3rd), respectively. The two elite quarterbacks will square off once again on Week 9 at Gillette Stadium.

Mike Vrabel played under Bill Belichick with the Patriots from 2001-2008 and won three Super Bowls with the team in 2001, 2003 and 2004. The New England Patriots are 7-1 versus the Titans in the Belichick era (since 2000) including the postseason where they have won seven straight. The Patriots and Titans will face off on Week 10 at Nissan Stadium.

Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger have split their four head-to-head meetings. Brees and Roethlisberger rank in the top 10 in career regular-season wins by a starting quarterback at sixth and seventh, respectively. In career passing yards, Brees ranks third with 70,445 while Roethlisberger ranks eighth with 51,065. The Steelers and Saints will play on Week 16.

Last year, Carson Wentz and Deshaun Watson were tied with the most passing touchdowns in the NFL (19) prior to Watson's injury entering Week 9. The Texans ranked first in points per game (30.7) while the Eagles ranked fourth (29.0) prior to Watson's injury entering Week 9. Both quarterbacks were first round picks in their respective drafts. The Texans will play against the Eagles on Week 16.

Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger will have the most combined Super Bowl wins by opposing starting quarterbacks in a game in NFL history with five and two, respectively. Brady is 8-2 against Ben Roethlisberger in head-to-head meetings, including playoffs. Roethlisberger is tied for Brady's most common opposing quarterback opponent among active quarterbacks with Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Week 15 bout will see the Brady and Roethlisberger dueling it out on Heinz Field.

Odell Beckham Jr. averages 94.1 receiving yards per game in his career, which is the second highest in NFL history (min. 20 games). Jalen Ramsey allowed the second lowest passer rating (57.9) among all players who were targeted 100+ times in 2017. Beckham is one of eight players in NFL history with 300 or more receptions, 4,000 receiving yards and 30 or more receiving touchdowns over their first four NFL seasons. Ramsey was named First-Team All-Pro in 2017 (second Jaguars defensive back named First-Team All-Pro in team history. The first was Rashean Mathis in 2006). The Week 1 showdown between the Jaguars and the Giants will take place at MetLife Stadium.

Matt Patricia was a coach with the Patriots from 2004 to 2017. Patricia served as defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2017 where he led the Patriots to a top 10 scoring defense in all six of his seasons. Bill Belichick's former Patriots assistants have a combined 103-152 record as NFL head coaches. Belichick and the Patriots will play against Patricia the Lions on Week 3 at Ford Field.

Marcus Peters and Sammy Watkins will be playing against their former teams in 2018. Since Marcus Peters entered the NFL in 2015, no player has more interceptions (19) or passes defensed (55). Among all players with 300 or more targets since 2014, Watkins has the NFL's third highest yards per reception average (15.9). The Chiefs and Seahawks will play on Week 16 at CenturyLink field.

Richard Sherman will be going up against former teammate Doug Baldwin this upcoming season. Sherman has the most interceptions (32), passes defended (99) and lowest completion percentage allowed (47.4) since entering NFL in 2011. Since 2015, Baldwin has 29 receiving touchdowns and a 137.4 passer rating when targeted (highest in NFL among QB-WR duos with a minimum of 100 targets). The former teammates will play each other twice, first at CenturyLink Field on Week 13 and the second at Levi's Stadium on Week 15.

Julio Jones has the most receiving yards in the NFL since 2015 (4,724) and finished in the top two in receiving yards in each of the last three seasons (2nd in 2017). Patrick Peterson is one of two defensive backs in NFL history to make Pro Bowl in each of first seven seasons in the league (Mel Renfro). He has the second most interceptions (21) among all cornerbacks since he entered the NFL in 2011. The Cardinals will make a trip out to Mercedez-Benz Stadium to face off against the Falcons on Week 15.
