Mind-boggling stats for 2018 Week 17
Drew Brees has had an MVP-caliber season, Nick Foles is looking to repeat his success as the starting QB for the Eagles, and the Ravens' defense is dominating. See what the numbers have to say with these mind-boggling stats for Week 17.

Has Drew Brees done enough to finally win his first MVP Award? Brees leads the NFL with 13 wins and a 115.7 passer rating this season, joining Peyton Manning (2013), Aaron Rodgers (2011), and Tom Brady (2007) as the only QBs in NFL history to win at least 13 games and post a 115+ passer rating in a single season. Each of those three previous players won the MVP Award that season.

Melvin Gordon needs 157 rushing yards to join LaDainian Tomlinson as the only Chargers players to have consecutive seasons with 1,000+ rushing yards (LT had 8 straight 1,000-yard seasons from 2001-2008).

Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster are in position to make history in Sunday's game against the Bengals. With 6+ receptions for Brown and 4+ receptions for Smith-Schuster, they would become the first teammate duo in NFL history to each record 110+ receptions in a single season -- a likely prospect, considering Brown has caught 6+ balls 9 times this season and Smith-Schuster has logged 4+ receptions in all but one game.

Looking to clinch their first playoff berth in four seasons, the Ravens have history on their side. Since the 1970 NFL merger, all 17 teams to finish a season as the #1 scoring and #1 total defense -- both ranks the Ravens currently hold -- have made it into the playoffs. As a bonus, six of those teams went on to win the Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson has the highest passer rating in the NFL when blitzed at 123.8, throwing 13 touchdowns with just 1 interception when blitzed this season. The Cardinals blitz at the highest rate in the NFL, bringing extra defenders on 41.7 percent of opponent's dropbacks.

Nick Foles has the Eagles soaring once again. With a win and Vikings loss against the Bears, the defending Super Bowl champions will be back in the playoffs. Since 2013, Foles is 11-4 (.733) with a 99.7 passer rating from December-February. Among quarterbacks with at least 10 starts in December-February, only Peyton Manning (.750) has a higher winning percentage, while no QB has a higher passer rating, than Foles in that span.
