The "Top 100 Players of 2019" countdown continues! Check out these mind-blowing stats that prove why these players made the list.

Andrew Luck won Comeback Player of the Year in 2018 on the back of 4,593 passing yards and 39 passing touchdowns, after missing the entire 2017 season. Luck's eye-popping 275.2 career pass YPG is the second-highest in the Super Bowl era behind only Drew Brees (min. 20 games). Luck threw touchdown passes to 13 different receivers, which tied an NFL single-season record, joining Drew Brees in 2018 and Matt Ryan in 2016.

Tyreek Hill finished 2018 with 1,479 receiving yards (4th in NFL) and 12 receiving touchdowns (4th in NFL), while racking up 10.8 yards per target (2nd in NFL, min. 75 targets). Hill was the best deep receiver (20+ air yards) in the NFL last season, ranking first in deep targets (42), receptions (18) and receiving yards (714) while catching 6 deep touchdowns (3rd in NFL). Hill's 16 career touchdowns of 50+ yards is tied with Hall of Famer Gale Sayers for the most such touchdowns by a player in his first three seasons since at least 1930. Hill set a new single-season Chiefs record for receiving yards with 1,479 in 2018.

Since entering the league in 2016, Ezekiel Elliott leads the NFL with 4,048 rushing yards (607 more than the next closest in Todd Gurley), despite not playing in eight games over that span. Elliott's 131.2 career scrimmage yards per game are the most by any player in the Super Bowl era. Elliott (2,001 scrimmage yards in 2018, 1,994 in 2016) became just the fourth player in NFL history with 1,900+ scrimmage yards in two of his first three seasons in the NFL, joining Edgerrin James and Hall of Famers LaDainian Tomlinson and Eric Dickerson.

Philip Rivers extended his streak of 4,000+ passing yards and 25+ passing touchdowns to six seasons in 2018 -- the longest active streak in the NFL. Rivers threw for an ultra-efficient 8.5 yards per attempt in 2018, his highest mark since 2010 and the third-highest among qualified quarterbacks last year behind Patrick Mahomes and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Rivers' 25 consecutive completions in Week 12, 2018 are tied for the most consecutive completions by a quarterback in NFL history. Rivers' streak of 13 consecutive games with 2+ touchdown passes (ending in Week 14, 2018) is tied for the second-longest such streak since at least 1950.

Offensive Rookie of the Year Saquon Barkley posted 2,028 scrimmage yards in 2018, becoming only the third rookie in NFL history to top 2,000. Barkley redefined "focal point of the offense" in 2018, becoming only the third player in NFL history with 1,300 rush yards (1,307), 90+ receptions (91), and 15+ scrimmage touchdowns (15) in a single season, joining Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson in 2003 and Steven Jackson in 2006.

Bobby Wagner's 438 tackles over the last three seasons is not only the most in the NFL, it's 66 more than the next closest player in that span (Zach Brown). Wagner missed a mere 0.7 percent of his attempted tackles last season (1 of 138), becoming the only player to miss less than one percent of his attempted tackles since 2006 (min. 75 attempted tackles, per PFF). Wagner's 98-yard interception return touchdown in Week 13 was the second-longest interception return touchdown and sixth-longest touchdown of any kind in 2018.

Alvin Kamara's career Pro Football Focus grade sits at a sparkling 91.3 overall, the highest of any running back since he entered the league in 2017. Kamara set a Saints franchise record with 14 rushing touchdowns in 2018. Kamara is the only player in NFL history with 150+ receptions and 20+ rush touchdowns in his first two NFL seasons.

Michael Thomas shot past Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry in the history books when he reached 321 career receptions last season, the most by any player in their first three seasons in NFL history (Beckham & Landry had 288). Thomas was as sure-handed as they come in 2018, as his 85.0 catch pct was the highest in a season in NFL history by a wideout with at least 75 targets. Thomas led the NFL in receptions (125) in 2018, becoming just the fifth player in NFL history with 125+ receptions in a season.

J.J. Watt has averaged 0.88 sacks per game over his eight-year career -- the highest rate of any player in NFL history (min. 10 games). Watt joined Hall of Famer Reggie White as just the second player in NFL history to have 4+ seasons with 15+ sacks (individual sacks were first recorded in 1982). Watt's 92.0 sacks are tied with DeMarcus Ware for second most since 1982 by a player in his first 104 games, only Reggie White had more (108.0).

DeAndre Hopkins carried the Texans passing offense in 2018, garnering 33.0 percent of the team targets, 33.3 percent of the team receptions, and 37.7 percent of the team receiving yards — all highest in the NFL. Hopkins ranks first or second in the NFL in targets (1st, 337), receptions (2nd, 211), receiving yards (2nd, 2,950), and receiving touchdowns (T-1st, 24) over the last two seasons, and is the only player to appear in the Top 2 in all four categories. In 2018, Hopkins became only the third player in NFL history to record multiple seasons of 110+ receptions (115), 1,500+ yards (1,572) and 10+ receiving touchdowns (11) in a career, joining Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison and Antonio Brown. According to PFF, Hopkins hauled in 115 receptions on 163 targets without committing a single drop in 2018 -- the most catches without a drop in a season since PFF started charting drops in 2007.
