Coming into the 2017 NFL Season, the Seattle Seahawks have made the playoffs in five straight seasons – the second longest active streak. With a win over the Cardinals AND a Falcons loss, the Seahawks will be extending that streak to six.

The Seahawks have relied on Russell Wilson at a historic pace this season. With 35 touchdowns (passing and rushing), he is responsible for all but one of his team's offensive touchdowns this season. The lone touchdown without Wilson was run in by J.D. McKissic in Week 4. Wilson accounts for 97.2% of the Seahawks' offensive touchdowns – the highest by any player in the Super Bowl era.

With a win in Week 17, Russell Wilson would become the first QB in NFL history to earn 10+ wins in each of his first six NFL seasons – a streak that would be twice as long as the next-closest player. The only other quarterback with 10+ wins in his first three seasons was Andrew Luck, who did so in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Since winning the Super Bowl in 2012, the Ravens have missed the postseason in three of the past four seasons (they made the playoffs in 2014 but lost in the Divisional round to the Patriots). The Ravens can clinch a berth if any of the following situations happen: The Ravens win against the Bengals; the Titans lose to the Jaguars; the Bills lose to the Dolphins.

The good news for the Ravens? They are 9-1 against non-playoff teams this season (based on current standings) and a Week 17 win propels Baltimore into the postseason. The bad news? If they get there, the Ravens are 0-5 against current playoff teams this season.

If the Ravens do make the playoffs, they will have to go on the road as a Wild Card team. Joe Flacco's eight playoff road wins are the most in NFL history. Since he entered the league in 2008, only Tom Brady has more playoff wins than Flacco.

The Falcons can secure a spot in the playoffs with a win over the Panthers or a Seahawks loss to the Cardinals. Atlanta will be trying to avoid being the second straight Super Bowl runner-up to miss the playoffs in the following season (2016 Panthers went 6-10).

Expect a close game in Atlanta. The Falcons lead the NFL in games decided by 8 points-or-fewer this season (10 games, 6-4 record), with the Panthers tied for second in number of games, but with a better winning percentage (9 games, 8-1 record). In their lone meeting this season (Week 9), the Panthers beat the Falcons 20-17.

Newton and Ryan are the NFL's last two MVP winners (Ryan in 2016, Newton in 2015), but neither has been able to sustain MVP-level production.

The Chargers will need some help to secure a spot in the playoffs. To make it into the Wild Card round, they'll need to not only defeat the Raiders, but will need a Titans loss AND either a Bills loss or Ravens win. The last time a team made the playoffs when needing a win + two other results in Week 17 was the Chargers in 2013. It would be the Chargers first playoff appearance since then. They would become only the second team in NFL history to start 0-4 and make the playoffs (1992 Chargers started 0-4 and finished 11-5).

The Chargers are 1 of 4 teams this season with a 4,000-yard passer (Philip Rivers), a 1,000-yard rusher (Melvin Gordon) and a 1,000-yard receiver (Keenan Allen). The other three teams (Chiefs, Saints, and Steelers) have already clinched a playoff spot.

Having not made the playoffs since 1999, the Bills hold the longest active streak in the NFL of 17 seasons without making it into the playoffs. This is the longest playoff drought across the four major U.S. sports. A Ravens loss accompanied by a Bills win OR a loss for the Chargers and Titans accompanied by a Bills win will end this streak.

LeSean McCoy is the centerpiece of the Bills offense, accounting for the 3rd-highest percentage of his team's scrimmage yards (32.6%) in the NFL. Since entering the NFL in 2011, McCoy has more rushing yards (10,082) than any other player. This season, he has the 4th-most rushing yards in the league (1,128).
