Mike Tolbert scored his third touchdown of the game -- a 19-yard pass from Philip Rivers -- with just over 5 minutes left in the game to give the Chargers the win. San Diego trailed 17-7 at halftime before rallying to win. This will be a recurring theme with the Vikings.

Former Cowboys kicker Nick Folk booted a 50-yarder with 27 seconds left to give the Jets a comeback win over the Cowboys. Darrelle Revis intercepted Tony Romo's pass with 59 seconds remaining to help set up Folk's winning kick. The Cowboys led 24-10 after Felix Jones' touchdown early in the fourth quarter.

LeGarrette Blount scored on a 4-yard run with 31 seconds on the clock as the Bucs rallied to defeat the Vikings. Quarterback Josh Freeman led the rally after Tampa Bay trailed 17-0 at halftime. Blount scored a pair of touchdowns in the second half.

Packers receiver Jordy Nelson scored on an 84-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the fourth quarter to cap Green Bay's comeback. Panthers rookie quarterback Cam Newton came out of the gates quickly, helping Carolina build a 13-0 lead early in the second quarter. The Packers took the lead in the third quarter and never looked back, with Nelson capping the win.

The 49ers appeared in cruise control after taking a 14-0 lead in the second quarter, and again when David Akers put them up 24-14 in the fourth quarter. However, Tony Romo overcame broken ribs and a punctured lung to rally the Cowboys. Romo's 77-yard pass to reality TV star Jesse Holley set up the winning kick in overtime.

The Bills and Raiders engaged in an old AFL-style shootout with the Buffalo winning after Ryan Fitzpatrick hit David Nelson on a 6-yard touchdown pass in the closing seconds. The Raiders were up 21-3 before the Bills staged a furious rally to take the lead, 31-28 in the fourth quarter. The Raiders went up 35-31 on Denarius Moore's 50-yard touchdown pass from Jason Campbell, but it would not stand.

The Eagles led the Falcons 31-21 heading into the fourth quarter, but quarterback Matt Ryan engineered two scoring drives to give Atlanta the victory. The winning score came on Michael Turner's 3-yard plunge to spoil Michael Vick's return to Atlanta as a starting quarterback.

The Patriots appeared to have ended the Bills' magical start after only two games, rushing out to a 21-0 lead in the second quarter. But the Bills still had some magic, as the defense intercepted Tom Brady four times, and Ryan Fitzpatrick led yet another comeback. A key figure in the turnaround was Fred Jackson, who took the ball down to the 1-yard line to set up Rian Lindell's winning kick.

The Vikings looked like they had finally flushed their troubles away with a 20-0 halftime lead over the upstart Lions. But for the third consecutive week, the second half happened. The Lions rallied to force overtime. And from there, Matthew Stafford connected again with Calvin Johnson to put Jason Hanson in position for winner. The Lions improved to 3-0, and the Vikings dropped their third in horrific fashion.

The Raiders prevailed in this old AFL rivalry, this time turning the tables on the Jets, who had looked comfortable with a 17-7 lead in the first half. Oakland not only tied things up at 17-17 before halftime, but Michael Bush put the game away in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run.

The talk of the Texans being for real was already minted when they raced out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, and again going up by nine points on two other occasions. But Drew Brees rallied the troops, as he always seems to do, with the winner coming from rookie running back Mark Ingram on a 13-yard touchdown run.
