New York Jets Le'Veon Bell Portraits
After sitting out the 2018 NFL season, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell arrives for minicamp with his new team, the New York Jets. The Jets inked the two-time All-Pro running back to a four-year contract worth $52.5 million with $35 million guaranteed, making him the second highest-paid player at the running back position. Bell became a free agent after he turned down the Steelers' franchise tag.
Bell has mostly stayed away from Jets' voluntary workouts this offseason, making his appearance ahead of mandatory activities that much more exciting for Jets' fans.
Nine NFL teams, including the Jets, open their mandatory minicamps on Tuesday ahead of the 2019 regular season. Teams around the NFL will continue to hold voluntary workouts and minicamps throughout the month, leading up to training camps in July. Regular-season NFL football officially kicks off Sept. 5, and the Jets will start their season against the Bills in Week 1.
