This week's leaders for max speed on touchdown scoring plays: Carolina Panthers receiver Corey Brown (20.35 mph), Panthers receiver Ted Ginn (19.80 mph), Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly (19.35 mph), Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (16.24 mph) and Denver Broncos tight end Owen Daniels (15.46 mph).

Average time to throw: Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (2.19 seconds), Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (2.19 seconds), Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer (2.29 seconds) and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (2.31 seconds).

DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller rushed a combined 75 times after doing so 51 times against Pittsburgh and averaging 54.7 per game in the regular season.

It took Von Miller an average of 2.5 seconds to get to Tom Brady on his 2.5 sacks. His season average entering this game was 3.8 seconds.

Not only was Tom Brady the Patriots' leading rusher with 13 yards on three attempts, but he also had a faster top speed as a ball carrier (16.18 mph) than Brandon Bolden, James White and Steven Jackson.

Jonathan Stewart reached 20.21 mph on his 59-yard run on the first play from scrimmage. His previous season-high speed was 19.51 mph on a 7-yard run in Week 8.

Carson Palmer's completions were caught an average of 5.62 yards past the line of scrimmage. Cam Newton's were caught an average of 10.3 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Carolina's linebackers and defensive backs blitzed a total of 19 times, compared to 50 for Arizona. Dwight Freeney and Markus Golden, who combined to blitz 62 times against Green Bay in the Divisional Round, blitzed just 32 times against Carolina.
