Next Gen Stats for Super Bowl 50
Ted Ginn Jr. carried the ball at 21.15mph to beat out every other player for the average max speed and Kony Ealy averaged 3.6 seconds to sack. However, even with these top stats the Panthers couldn't quite seem to eek out a win during Super Bowl 50.

The top contenders for max speed as a ball carrier are: Panthers' Ted Ginn at 21.15mph; Broncos' Jordan Norwood at 19.55mph; Panthers' Ted Ginn at 19.19mph; Panthers' Corey Brown at 19.17mph; Panthers' Cam Newton at 18.96mph.

The players with the fastest sack time are Panthers' Kony Ealy with 3.6 seconds; Broncos' Von Miller with 3.0 seconds; Broncos' DeMarcus Ware with 2.7 seconds; Panthers' Luke Kuechly with 2.1 seconds; Panthers' Charles Johnson with 4.2 seconds.

Peyton Manning averaged just 2.01 seconds from snap to throw, compared to 2.21 over the whole season. Cam Newton held the ball 0.6 seconds longer on pass attempts in the Super Bowl than his season average (3.08 to 2.48).

Fozzy Whittaker didn't travel as far as Cam Newton throughout the game last Sunday, but the yardage he did gain was more efficient. Whittaker averaged a distance of 2.36 yards per rush yard. Newton traveled 130 total yards, but only 45 of those were actually rush yards.

C.J. Anderson may have run for a distance of 263 yards during Super Bowl 50, but he only edged out 90 rush yards, making each yard equivalent to 2.91 total yards.

Corey Brown averaged 80 receiving yards and Devin Funchess came in second with 40 during Super Bowl 50.

Demaryius Thomas and Andre Caldwell only totaled a whopping 30 receiving yards during the entirety of Super Bowl 50; Thomas with 8 and Caldwell with 22.

Denver's blitz count far surpassed the Panthers' attempts. DeMarcus Ware takes the cake with an impressive 29 blitzes.

The Panthers defense fell incredibly short in their overall blitz count for Super Bowl 50. Their top contender, Luke Kuechly, only came in with five blitzes throughout the whole game, which is seven blitzes shy of the Broncos' fourth-place blitz-count record.
